Abstract: Embodiments of a system, device and method for suspending sharing of a reflection-based communication element. In some aspects, a wireless communication method includes sending, by a first wireless communication node to a second wireless communication node, a first message to suspend sharing of a reflection-based communication element between the first wireless communication node and the second wireless communication node, wherein the reflection-based communication element keeps sharing configuration parameters from the first wireless communication node and the second wireless communication node.
