    摘要: A single-sided, slip resistant, self-adhesive material is produced using a blown film process which produces a film having an interior layer capable of being treated or coated to accept a pressure sensitive adhesive, a middle layer of flexible polyolefin and an exterior polyolefin elastomer layer in combination with a blowing agent to produce a single-sided slip resistant material. A number of in-line rollers are optionally provided after a pair of nip rollers, which form part of a machine direction orienter (MDO) that is used in line in the manufacturing process to heat, and then cool and condition (anneal and relieve any stresses and/or thickness inconsistencies) the film prior to the film being coated on one side with a pressure sensitive adhesive.

    摘要: An oscillating hauloff for blown film has a bearing structure positioned along the vertical process centerline. The bearing structure is separated into upper and lower sections to maintain a clear and open pathway for the web to pass across the process centerline. Passing the web across the process centerline allows the web to change directions before passing over a second turning bar, thus canceling any web wandering introduced by a first turning bar.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a label cover with joint lines positioned along folding traces of a lateral side of the label is disclosed. A tubular heat contracting film is printed with various patterns and characters, and then the film is folded as a tubular label cover by a folding machine. One opening of the label cover is placed on a guide plate. The orientation between inlet end and the outlet end of the guide plate is adjustable. After the label cover passes through the guide plate, the position of the joint line is converted to the folding trace of the lateral side of the label cover. By the design of the inlet end and the outlet end of the guide plate, the respective angle after being folded is adjusted so that the overlapping portion of the joint line and the folding trace on the label cover is changed as desired. Therefore, the pattern and characters on the label cover are retained as original forms without being destroyed by the joint line. Then, an automatic label installation operation can be used to arrange the pattern on the label upon different bottle bodies so as not to destroy the outlook.

    摘要: An oscillating hauloff device for removing blown film from an extruding apparatus. The oscillating hauloff includes a stacked ring arrangement which provides a compact and stable structure. The turning bars and idler rolls are encompassed in the ring structure and are arranged to cancel effects of web wandering and wrinkling. A method for making the oscillating hauloff, including CNC machining of annealed ring-shaped weldments, that is economical and simple to manufacture. The turning bars are provided with reinforcements that prevent deflection of the turning bars during use. Further the turning bars are provided with flow restricted outlets and axially extending channels to supply uniform air pressure to float the blown film on the turning bars. A specific arrangement for providing utility services to the oscillating hauloff is also disclosed which employs torsional deflection of the loads during rotation of the rings. The oscillating hauloff is suitable for receiving film extruded downwards with only minor adjustments in structure from the unit for upwardly extruded film.
