    摘要： When a sliding door (3) as a plate-like object is moved in a front and rear direction from a closed position to an opening preparation position, a rotatable rail (20) rotates from a horizontal lying position to a vertical standing position about a rotation axis (L1). When the sliding door is in the opening preparation position, a roller (40) of the sliding door (3) rides on a running track (25b) of the rotatable rail (20). When the sliding door (3) is further moved from the opening preparation position to an open position, the roller (40) transfers from the running track (25b) to an auxiliary track (26) of an adjacent rotatable rail (20). The rotatable rail (20) is biased toward the standing position by an elastic force of a torsion spring (18) and maintained in the standing position by an arm (13). This allows the sliding door (3) to be returned to the opening preparation position.

    摘要： A top-supported sliding door system or a vertically sliding door system achieves an enhanced air seal with a lateral keeper mechanism on either or both of the trailing and leading edges. On an outward lateral edge of a door panel, a keeper projects inwardly toward the door frame to engage a door frame camming surface such as a pin. The bracket may advantageously disengage under a force indicative of impact in order to minimize damage resulting therefrom. Application of the lateral keeper mechanism may further be used on vertically sliding doors and on multi-panel horizontal sliding doors. In addition, a rail may extend from the angled pin to engage the keeper throughout the full travel of the door panel.

    摘要： A sliding door mechanism for closing an aperture in a wall comprises an elongate support, a hanger pivotally connected to the support and arranged to be fixed to the door, and an arm on the support extending in the length direction thereof and carrying spaced apart first rollers. A track which, in use, is fixed to the wall, receives the first rollers. A guide rail mounted on the track. Second rollers are mounted on the support for engaging the guide rail. The arrangement is such that, in use, as the door reaches a closed position in which it closes the aperture from an open position in which the aperture is not obstructed by the door, the guide rail and second rollers causes the support to pivot about the contact points of the first rollers with the track and the hanger pivots relative to the support.

    摘要： An assembly for hermetically sealing an opening in a wall comprises a sliding door having sealing means along its bottom edge and along the top and lateral edges of its face adjacent the wall, and suspension rollers which slidably mount the door on a rail fastened to the wall and which are movable along the rail. The rail comprises fixed sections between adjacent ones of which are two sections which are movable between a first position in which the movable sections are aligned with the fixed rail sections and the door is disposed in a raised, clear position which permits it to move along the rail without obstruction, and a second position in which the movable sections are displaced downwards and towards the wall with respect to the fixed rail sections and the door is applied against the wall so that the opening is hermetically sealed. The rollers are arranged to engage the two movable sections respectively when the door is opposite the opening whereby the sections are moved to the said second position.
