摘要: A database storage system creates secure snapshots or virtual databases based on a source database that stores sensitive information. The database storage system applies a masking function to the sensitive data and stores the masked data in the secure snapshot. The database storage system creates secure snapshots that share masked database blocks with other secure snapshots. The database storage system shares masked database blocks by storing information identifying a previously created masked database block for a new secure snapshot. If a masked database block for the new secure snapshot is different from the previously created masked database block, the database storage system stores metadata including the difference between the two masked database blocks. The database storage system allows sharing any transformed database blocks across snapshot, if the transformed database blocks are obtained by applying a transformation function to data of the source database.

摘要: A graph of combinations of entities and parameters corresponding to the combinations of entities may be generated as a table that comprises a single column of entity combinations. Each entity combination may further be stored in a different row of the single column to thereby allow for efficient storage, search, and traversal of the table. Each corresponding parameter may also be stored in a separate column. Furthermore, each entity combination may be stored in a parseable manner, such that each entity combination may be parsed to allow for identification of each entity included within a given entity combination. Traversing the table may further be improved by generating a second table that includes an entity combination node corresponding to (and linked to) each entity combination stored within the first table. Each given node of the second table may be linked to each nearest neighbor node of the given node.

摘要: A method is provided for booking a hotel room that improves the satisfaction level for a consumer and increases revenue for the hotelier. Consumers may benefit from being able to select property-specific and room-specific attributes for which they perceive enhanced value, while property-specific and room-specific attributes that a consumer does not particularly value may be avoided in an effort for the consumer to spend on features they desire. Further, hoteliers may benefit from being able to offer room-specific attributes and add-on features that create additional revenue streams for the hotel. Additionally, the transparency afforded the consumer of the room-specific attributes available versus those selected provides the consumer with a level of expectation that is more aligned with the hotel and the specific room they selected, thereby improving customer satisfaction.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for determining segments of online users from a correlated dataset. One method includes receiving, over a network, a plurality of datasets including user-related data of a plurality of users, each dataset being transmitted from a data owner; correlating, by at least one processor, the plurality of datasets into a correlated dataset; receiving a segmentation request for determining a plurality of users that qualify for a segment, the segmentation request including a set of segment rules to apply to the correlated dataset; determining, by accessing the correlated dataset, whether each user of the plurality of users qualifies for the segment based on the segment rule; and storing an indication of the segment in the correlated dataset for each user determined to qualify for the segment.
