摘要： An apparatus for feeding a plurality of items to a unit having a variable demand. The apparatus includes a frame rotatably supporting a first shaft in a fixed position, and a last shaft rotatably supported in a fixed position, the last shaft supplying items to the unit, the first shaft discharging the items from the apparatus at a variable rate, and at least two rotatable pivotally mounted, intermediate shafts to guide the items between the first and last shafts and accumulate them during load demand. The rate of feed by the last shaft is different from that of the first shaft and is determined at least by the extent of accumulation at the intermediate shafts, and optionally also by the differential in feed rate existing between the first and last shafts.

摘要： An ammunition container has an ammunition supporting platform which is movable upwardly within the outer housing by springs which are loaded by the weight of the ammunition supported thereon. As the ammunition is used, the decrease in the weight of the ammunition thereon allows the springs to recover and elevate the platform to provide a relatively constant upper position for the upper plane of the ammunition supported on the platform.

摘要： The magazine includes a clip magazine (22) above a drum magazine (11) and connectable to an automatic weapon. Door (15) is hinged at its lower edge to open downwardly from clip magazine (22). The torsion spring (21) can be wound by external crank (20), and the spring bias can be relieved by pushing latch plunger (60). The protrusion (102, 103) of the last round follower (85) moves progressively along the spiral path (81) of the drum magazine (11) and its three links (86, 88 and 89) move through the turn and into the clip magazine (22) to push the last round of ammunition to the weapon.
