摘要: The present disclosure is directed to preventing serious injury or death by electrocution due to contact with a power source, such as an alternating current (AC) voltage source. Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may controllably provide an electrical voltage to an electrical conductor for a period of time and then remove that voltage from the electrical conductor before providing the electrical voltage to the electrical conductor a second time. By initially connecting the electrical voltage to the conductor, then removing that electrical voltage from the conductor before re-connecting that electrical voltage to the conductor, methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure allow a person to let go of the electrical conductor before the person is seriously injured or killed by an electrical shock in an instance where the body of the person is in physical contact with the electrical conductor.

摘要: The present invention is a smart electrical system comprising a smart control panel connected to various electrical interfaces. Each electrical interface is inbuilt with at least one IC chip to identify it. The smart control panel comprises a processing unit to process information from various electrical interfaces and load connected to each electrical interface. The processed information is displayed on the display unit, as at least one menu list, that allows the user to select and control various electrical interfaces from panel itself. The smart control panel allows the user to reset the circuit breaker box in case if it is tripped due to overload. The panel monitors each electrical interface and alerts user when overload or marginal load condition occurs.

摘要: A circuit breaker having a housing with an accessory cover includes an accessory cover interlock assembly that trips the circuit breaker upon removal of the accessory cover. The accessory cover interlock assembly includes a plunger rotatable from an initial install position to an engaged position that moves a trip lever into a de-energize position (tripping the circuit breaker) upon removal of the accessory cover. The accessory cover interlock assembly prevents the circuit breaker from being reset while the access cover is removed. The accessory cover interlock assembly automatically resets upon re-attachment of the accessory cover to the circuit breaker housing. Methods of forced safety tripping in a circuit breaker are also provided, as are other aspects.

The at least one inner member can be a plurality of cooperating inner members that have inner surfaces that align to form an inner perimeter surrounding the open center channel.

摘要: An arc monitor for tripping a circuit breaker in the event of an arc occurrence, the arc monitor including at least one arc detector and arranged to be operatively connected to at least one circuit breaker. The arc monitor includes a base unit and at least one extension unit with at least one arc detector input terminal, the at least one arc detector being connectable to the at least one arc detector input terminal, and the base unit includes a control unit. The extension unit is operatively connectable to and arranged to send an arc occurrence signal to the control unit, which is arranged to send a trip signal for tripping the at least one circuit breaker, in the event of an arc occurrence. Also an electrical installation including an arc monitor, and the use of an arc monitor as a supervision and safety equipment in an electrical installation.
