Abstract: A tank and a method of carrying a load and discharging a load therefrom. The tank includes a body having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for carrying a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. An air piping system is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under substantially similar or substantially equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.

Abstract: A structurally supportive belly pad is connected to a rounded trailer and configured to support the same near the rear end of the trailer. The belly pad may be arcuately curved complementary to the curvature of the rounded trailer. However, if the belly pad were laid flat, it includes a pair of parallel legs aligned in a generally longitudinal direction with a plurality of transverse ribs extending therebetween. The shape of the belly pad is configured to provide structural support for the trailer which is beneficial especially when the trailer is raised and lowered, typically through hydraulic mechanisms.

Abstract: A roll off trailer includes first and second trolley assemblies and a hoisting cable connected at one end to the first trolley assemble and extending about a sheave in each of the first and second trolley assemblies. The cable connects to a container. The second trolley is displaced t in a first direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the first grounded container to a second container position generally midway atop the trailer. Then, the first trolley is displaced in a second direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the second container position to a third container position generally adjacent the front of the trailer.

Abstract: A frameless dump trailer is provided. The frameless dump trailer includes a forward body portion and a rear body portion. Each body portion is formed from two or more panels joined together with butt-joint welds. The forward portion is first formed by welding planar sections together. After the body portion is formed from the plurality of planar panels, the larger planar portion is rolled in a rolling system to define the arcuate shape of trailer body. Then, the forward and rear body portions are welding together with a transversely extending butt-weld.

Abstract: A dump body apparatus including a dump body having an exterior wall defining a compartment for carrying a load. The exterior wall includes a front wall and first and second sidewalls. A first corner wall extends between the front wall and the first sidewall. The first corner wall is oriented at an obtuse angle relative to one or both of the front wall and the first sidewall. An opening is defined in the first corner wall and is in communication with the compartment. A door selectively closes off access to the compartment and a step may be provided below the door. An angled second corner wall may be provided between the front wall and the second sidewall. The angles of the first and second corner walls provide relatively unobstructed lines of sight for a driver seated in a cab of a vehicle that includes the dump body.
