    摘要: At a mobile terminal apparatus provided with a non-contact IC, flexible communication is carried out between the external reader/writer , non-contact IC and the internal application manager controller, and a program designated in the form of a push from the external reader/writer is activated and executed in a smooth manner at the mobile terminal apparatus. Normally, the non-contact IC cannot communicate with the application manager controller during communication with the external reader/writer, and cannot communicate with the external reader/writer during communication with the application manager controller. A specific command is transmitted from the external reader/writer together with information specifying a prescribed application during communication between the external reader/writer and the non-contact IC. When the specific command is received, the non-contact IC shifts to a communication state enabling communication with the application manager controller. The application manager controller captures and executes information specifying the application at the timing of the transition.

    摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a face image extractor portion, a matching image detector portion, a linking processing portion, a communication address information acquiring portion, and a controller portion. The face image extractor portion extracts a face image of a person in a still image content. The matching image detector portion detects from a memory containing or storing face images and communication address information of respective users the matching face image matching with the extracted face image, which has been extracted by the face image extractor portion. When the matching face image matching with the extracted face image, which has been extracted by the face image extractor portion, is detected by the matching image detector, the linking processing portion performs a linking process to link the extracted face image and communication address information corresponding to the extracted face image and stored in the memory. When the person is selected from the still image content, the communication address information acquiring portion acquires from the memory the communication address information linked by the linking process to the face image of the selected person. The controller portion controls a communication section to make a telephone call to a telephone number corresponding to the communication address information acquired by the communication address information acquiring portion or that performs display control to display on a display portion a creation screen for an e-mail piece having an input e-mail address corresponding to the communication address information.

    摘要: An editing system for editing a plurality of clips recorded on a random-accessible recording medium includes a clip processing device having a plurality of clip processing layers to execute a predetermined process for the clips, and a hierarchy decision device having a plurality of objects corresponding to the clip processing layers.     摘要: A speech-rate converter slowing down input speech regularly monitors the data length of the input speech and the previously estimated extended output data length for the current rate scaling factor, computing new output data length estimates. The conversion rate is adaptively modified depending on the time lag between input and output speech so as to make input and output data lengths consistent without skipping any spoken input portions. Input signal power is monitored to discriminate speech and non-speech intervals, and the portions of input non-speech intervals exceeding a conversion-rate-dependent duration are deleted.

    摘要: An analysis processor applies an analysis process to input speech data thereby to obtain block lengths for respective attributes of voiced sound, voiceless sound and silence. A block data splitter splits the input speech data into blocks having the block lengths dependent on the respective attributes. A block data memory sequentially stores speech data split by the block data splitter as block speech data and the block lengths. A connection data generator generates connection data for connecting the adjacent block speech data each other at every moment by using the block speech data. A connection data storing portion sequentially stores the connection data. A connection order generator generates block connection order of the block speech data and the connection data at every moment according to at least the block lengths output sequentially from the block data storing portion and extension scaling factors in time for the respective attributes.
