Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and a method and a device for manufacturing an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate. The first electrode plate and the second electrode plate are wound along a winding direction to form a winding structure, and the winding structure includes a bending region. The first electrode plate includes a first segment that exceeds a winding starting end of the second electrode plate, and at least a part of the first segment is configured to provide a support force to a part of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate in the bending region and located at an outer side the first segment, making a structure of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate more compact in the bending region.
