    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for the detection of conductive bodies using three-component electric or magnetic dipole transmitters. The fields from multiple transmitters can be combined to enhance fields at specific locations and in specific orientation. A one- two- or three-component receiver or receiver array is provided for detecting the secondary field radiated by a conductive body. The data from multiple receivers can be combined to enhance the response at a specific sensing location with a specific orientation. Another method is provided in which a three-component transmitter and receiver are separated by an arbitrary distance, and where the position and orientation of the receiver relative to the transmitter are calculated, allowing the response of a highly conductive body to be detected.

    摘要: A technique and apparatus to provide status tracking of presence and/or location of wireless devices to requesting entities inside and/or outside a particular wireless system. Presence and/or location information is provided to entities outside a particular servicing wireless network via mechanisms of call processing components of a mobile network and standard mechanisms available to any appropriately conforming MSC element. In one embodiment, a wireless chat automatic status tracking system utilizes a change in mobile registration status to automatically forward or copy a registration notification (REGNOT) message to an external IP application, to notify a chat group system outside the wireless network of current status information activity regarding a relevant device. Change in mobile registration is communicated via a suitable signaling link between a HLR and the chat group system. REGNOT messages are pushed over TCP/IP connections to external applications to automatically notify the external system of a particular user's location.

The battery management system includes primary and secondary protection circuits for monitoring the charging and discharging of the battery. Individual battery cells forming the battery pack are connected by a main bus to a connector for connection to a battery charger or a device to be powered, and the main bus may be interrupted by a switch controlled by the battery management system to prevent damage to the battery during charging or discharging of the battery.
