    摘要: A replaceable ink tank for an ink cartridge used in a bubble jet printer comprises a container formed by two side walls providing major surfaces of the container, and back, front, top and bottom walls. At least one ink supply port is provided in the bottom wall of container and is disposed for supplying ink from at least one ink chamber in the container to a corresponding ink tapping pipe in the ink cartridge. The container is configured for insertion into an opening in the top and front of the ink cartridge with the bottom wall of the container facing downward and a back wall facing a back wall of the ink cartridge, the container being constructed for engaging a camming shoe located at the back inside of a top wall of the cartridge and securing the container in place in the ink cartridge with the ink supply port connecting with the corresponding ink tapping pipe.

    摘要: An ink jet printing apparatus includes a print head having an ejection port surface with ejection ports formed therein from which ink is ejected, a cap covering the ejection port surface of the print head, and a suction unit for allowing a pump to generate negative pressure in the cap to suck ink from the print head. The suction unit has a valve provided in a communication tube joining the pump and the cap together. The suction unit sucks ink under a relatively low negative pressure and then switches the valve to suck the ink under a relatively high negative pressure.

    摘要: There is provided an inkjet printing apparatus which can restrict each of coloring of reflected light and image clarity within an allowable range required in each of a color mode and a monochromatic mode in any of the modes to output an image with a high grade. For this end, a print duty of each of the first image improving liquid and the second image improving liquid is set in such a manner that a ratio of the print duty of the first image improving liquid having low penetratability to the print duty of the second image improving liquid having high penetratability is higher in the monochromatic mode than that in the color mode. Thereby, an appropriate ratio and an appropriate amount of appropriate kinds of the image improving liquids are applied to each of the color mode and the monochromatic mode.

If the ejected volume of the sedimentation restraining inks is found not enough, a required amount of sedimentation restraining ink is additionally ejected.
