    摘要: The toroidal-type continuously variable transmission includes an input disk, an output disk disposed coaxially with the input disk, a trunnion capable of swinging about its pivot shaft portion situated at a torsional relation with respect to the respective center axes of the input and output disks; and a power roller supported on the trunnion and inclinably rollable on and between the input and output disks. The trunnion includes a main body plane portion for holding a displacement shaft supporting the power roller rotatably and a pair of pivot shaft portions respectively formed in the two end portions of the main body plane portion integrally therewith, while two connecting portions respectively between the main body plane portion and the pair of pivot shaft portions are respectively formed so as to include continuous metal flows.

    摘要: An electron beam drawing process of high throughput, coping with the changes in static distortion and dynamic distortion of a lower layer exposure apparatus or an optical reduction exposure apparatus. At least two marks formed in each chip formed on a wafer are detected for a predetermined number of chips, and the relation between the shape distortion of each chip in the wafer plane and the wafer coordinates is determined from the positions of the detected marks and the designed positions of the marks by a statistical processing. Patterns are drawn in all chips while correcting the patterns to be drawn on the individual chips, by using the relation between the determined chip shape distortion and the wafer coordinates. As a result, the superposition exposure with the lower layer can be with a high throughput and with a high accuracy without any manual adjustment.

    摘要: A load applied to the constituent member of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission is mitigated to thereby improve the durability thereof. During low speed running, a clutch for low speed is connected and a clutch for high speed and a clutch for backward movement are disconnected. During high speed running, the clutch for high speed is connected and the clutch for low speed and the clutch for backward movement are disconnected. During the high speed running, a torque is applied to the output side disc of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission. This torque becomes smaller as the transmission ratio as a whole is displaced to the high speed side. Correspondingly thereto, the load applied to the constituent member of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission can be mitigated.

    摘要: In a high speed logic circuit using a vertical hetero-junction bipolar transistor, in which two-dimensional carriers formed at a semiconductor hetero-junction interface are used as a base layer, the uppermost layer being a collector layer, the lowest layer being an emitter layer, two base electrodes making contact with the base layer are disposed so as to put a collector electrode, which is electrically in contact with the collector layer, therebetween. The base electrodes are used at the same time as a source electrode and a drain electrode, respectively, of a field effect transistor using the two-dimensional carriers as an active layer. The high speed logic circuit is so constructed that one of the base electrodes of the bipolar transistor is an input terminal; the other is connected with a power supply; the emitter is grounded; and the collector is an output terminal.
