摘要: An ultrasonic coordinate input, apparatus comprising a plurality of ultrasonic wave receivers to receive ultrasonic wave emitted by a cordless ultrasonic pen and propagating in an ultrasonic propagating medium, a plurality of receiving circuits for detecting the rising edges of received signals of the ultrasonic wave receivers, a measuring circuit for measuring the difference in time of receiving ultrasonic wave between the ultrasonic wave receivers and a calculating circuit for calculating the coordinates of ultrasonic wave input position according to the result of measurement. When the receiving circuits, the measuring circuit and the calculating circuit are installed together with the ultrasonic wave receivers on the ultrasonic propagating medium, the entire apparatus can be made small in size.

摘要: The invention prevents the temperature of supplied air from being decreased by a defrosting operation when a vehicle is in operation. During the heating operation, it is judged whether the vehicle is in operation. When the vehicle is in operation, it is judged whether an external heat exchanger is frosted or not relying upon the external air temperature, temperature of the external heat exchanger (coolant) and the time of heating operation. When it is judged that frost is formed, the rotational speed of the compressor is increased to increase the ability to supplying the coolant, to maintain heating ability and to prevent the drop of temperature of the supplied air. When the frost is formed after the operation of the vehicle has been finished, it is judged whether the secondary batteries are being charged or not, i.e., whether the charging circuit of the secondary batteries is connected to the external power source for charging or not. When it has not been connected, the device waits until it is connected, and the defrosting operation is executed at a moment when the charging circuit is connected.

摘要: To smoothly transmit a plurality of types of data with different priorities via the same signal transmission path. Four-bit data showing the state of a bus are converted into six-bit data between a personal computer and an extension box connected by two optical-fiber links in accordance with a predetermined code system in a normal state, and the converted six-bit data are superimposed on a packet by using a field consisting of six bits as a single unit and serially and sequentially transmitted in order to transfer the state of the bus. When bus arbitration is performed by one system and an ARB level is determined, an interrupt start code not defined by the predetermined code system is prefixed to ARB-level data and an interrupt cancellation code not defined by the code system is suffixed to ARB-level data so that data can be transmitted by asynchronously interrupting packet transmission. Thereby, the ARB level determined by the primary-side system is instantaneously transferred to the secondary-side system.

摘要: A blood vessel piercing instrument includes an outer tube assembly and an inner needle assembly. The outer tube assembly has an outer tube and an outer tube hub attached to the rear end portion of said outer tube. The outer tube has a metal tubular member made of a superelastic metal and a resin tubular member which covers the outside surface of the metal tubular member and has the front end portion extending beyond the front end of the metal tubular member. The inner needle assembly includes an inner needle which is extractably inserted in said outer tube assembly and has a piercing edged surface formed at the front end protruding from said outer tube and an inner needle hub which is attached to the rear end portion of said inner needle and engages with the rear end of said outer tube hub. An inside diameter of said front end portion of said resin tubular member is smaller than the inside diameter of said metal tubular member and substantially equal to an outside diameter of said inner needle.

摘要: Disclosed is a scroll bar with jump tags representing preferred set of scroll positions. Jump tags are displayed so that user can select a scroll position in the preferred set. When it is selected, the current scroll position changes immediately, or jumps, to the selected scroll position. User can also create a new jump tag and record current scroll position for jumping back to later.

摘要: An Ultrasonic Equipment and its Catheter-type Ultrasonic Probe can be inserted in capillaries such as blood vessels, and comprises a catheter-type ultrasonic probe for generating ultrasonic waves by a piezoelectric transducer arrayed at its tip. A plurality of the piezoelectric transducer segments are arrayed on a two-dimensional plane, perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the insertion direction of the probe into a capillary with their ultrasonic wave emitting surface faced in the insertion direction. A part of the plane is cut out to provide a guide unit for passing a treating catheter or a guide wire in the insertion direction.

摘要: A control system for discriminating the occurrence of fogging of the windscreen of a vehicle due to the deposition of water drops or the like from the degree of optical scattering and automatically starting and stopping the operation of a defogging apparatus according to the result of the discrimination. To prevent the defogging apparatus from being stopped undesirably due to an optical system being subjected to the effect of a disturbance light, the disturbance light is detected so that when the disturbance light exceeds a predetermined value, the defogging apparatus is maintained in operation.

摘要: In a fog detecting apparatus with optoelectronic system, comprising infrared-emitting means and infrared-receiving means, is provided means for adjusting a reference which is compared with a voltage value of a detecting signal generated according to an electrical signal produced by the infrared-receiving means in order to distinguish whether a windshield of a vehicle is in the fogging condition or not. The reference is changed according to the detecting signal which is produced when the windshield is in good condition against the fogging after a fog removing apparatus has been actuated to remove the fog attached on the windshield, so that the fogging condition is detected in accuracy independently of the contamination of the optoelectronic system or the like.
