    摘要: Trick mode play for controlling video content playback can be realized using a semantic based criterion in order to achieve a more uniform playback experience for the viewer, when that viewer wishes to observe the video content presented according to a selected semantic. In one embodiment of the method, semantics associated with shorter time intervals in the video content are replayed in trick mode play proportionally slower than semantics associated with longer time intervals, wherein the proportionally is determined, at least in part, to the time interval associated with each semantic. In various embodiments, semantics can include scenes, audio, metadata, tags, and the like. The semantics based trick mode play approach allows for a more uniform viewing experience, on a time duration basis, from one semantic to the next.

    摘要: Video coding systems or apparatus utilizing context-based adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC) during encoding and/or decoding, are configured according to the invention with an enhanced binarization of non-zero Delta-QP (dQP). During binarization the value of dQP and the sign are separately encoded using unary coding and then combined into a binary string which also contains the dQP non-zero flag. This invention capitalizes on the statistical symmetry of positive and negative values of dQP and results in saving bits and thus a higher coding efficiency.

    摘要: A method and system for acquiring channel information are disclosed in the present document, wherein the method includes: a base station and a User Equipment (UE) jointly saving a first codebook and at least a second codebook, and the first codebook being used for channel information quantization in various scenarios; the UE performing feedback of at least 2 Precoding Matrix Indicators (PMIs) to the base station, wherein, one PMI corresponds to one code word in the first codebook, all the other PMIs respectively correspond to different code words in a second codebook used currently, and all the code words corresponding to the fed back PMIs are used for representing channel information of one or multiple or all subbands; and after receiving the PMIs fed back from the UE, the base station finding corresponding code words from the first codebook and the second codebook used currently, and acquiring the channel information.
