摘要: The stability of organic substrates having an absorption maximum between 300 and 800 nm in wavelength can be improved by at least one compound represented by the formula (I); ##STR1## wherein M represents Cu, Co, Ni, Pd or Pt; X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3 and X.sub.4 eachrepresents an oxygen or sulfur atom, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents an alkyl, an aryl, a cycloalkyl, an oxocyclalkyl or a heterocyclic group attached to the carbon atom on the chelate ring directly or through a divalent connecting group, R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, an aryl, a cycloalkyl, an oxocycloalkyl or a heterocyclic group attached to the carbon atom on the chelate ring directly or through a connecting group whereby R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may be the same or different and R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may combine with each other to form a 5-, 6- or 7- member ring structure.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a catheter, whereby a tunnel infection route is closed such that infection can be prevented, by improving adhesiveness between a medical catheter and a biologically-derived adhesive (fibrin adhesive), cells, or biological tissue. The present invention provides a medical catheter which is composed of material selected from the group consisting of silicone, polyurethane, polypropylene and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), at least a portion of the surface of which is modified by plasma ion implantation.

摘要: Provided is a printing apparatus in which bubbles in a print head are easily removed. The printing apparatus includes a first one-way valve disposed between the pump and the ink tank in the collection channel, the first one-way valve allowing movement of ink from the pump to the ink tank and blocking movement of ink from the ink tank to the pump; a circulation channel that connects the ink tank to the collection channel at a position between the pump and the first one-way valve, the circulation channel enabling circulation of ink from the ink tank, through the print head, and to the ink tank; and a second one-way valve disposed in the circulation channel, the second one-way valve allowing movement of ink from the ink tank to the pump and blocking movement of ink from the pump to the ink tank.

摘要: A vehicle steering control apparatus (100) in a vehicle (10), which is provided with: a steering system including at least a rudder angle varying device (400, 700) capable of changing a relation between a steering angle, which is a rotation angle of a steering wheel (12), and a rudder angle of steered wheels and a steering torque assisting device (500) capable of assisting a driver steering torque; and a power supply source (800) for supplying electric power to the steering system, is provided with: a limiting device for limiting electric current consumption of the steering torque assisting device if a consumption current value of the steering system is greater than a maximum allowable current value in a case where supply capacity of supplying an electric current in the power supply source is reduced with respect to a reference; and a controlling device for matching a neutral position of the steering wheel with a neutral position of the steered wheels in a situation in which the electric current consumption of the steering torque assisting device is limited.

摘要: A printing apparatus includes a plurality of image sensors imaging a sheet to be conveyed, and a direct sensor unit performing the signal processing of the outputs of the image sensors to detect the movement of the sheet. Here, the plurality of image sensors are provided on the carriage at least at two positions with at least the recording element array diagonally put between the two positions. The plurality of image sensors can image the sheet at two positions separated in a main scan direction and a sub-scan direction.

摘要: A normally-closed electromagnetic relay which may be used in controlling a supply of electric current to an automotive engine starter. The electromagnetic relay is equipped with a resistor and a shirt circuit. The short circuit is created by closing of relay contacts when a relay coil is energized to establish an electric connection between ends of the resistor to supply the current from a battery to an electric motor without flowing through the resistor and opened by opening of the relay contacts when the relay coil is deenergized to supply the electric current from the battery to the electric motor through the resistor. If a motor drive signal line leading to the electromagnetic relay is disconnected when the relay coil is kept energized, it will cause the short circuit to be established to ensure the supply of current to the motor, which also avoids the melting down of the resistor.
