    摘要： An audio-visual display device which sequentially displays and discusses pictorial representations of merchandise and thereafter mirrors actual merchandise is comprised of a display enclosure, audio apparatus and timer apparatus. The display enclosure has a plurality of compartments each provided with separate illumination apparatus therein. At least one side of each compartment has a one-way mirror which enables a consumer to see pictorial representations of merchandise affixed to the inside of the one-way mirror when the illumination apparatus has been actuated and to see an image of the consumer in the one-way mirror when the illumination apparatus is not actuated. The audio apparatus provides an oral description of pictorial representations of merchandise and actual merchandise. The timer apparatus sequentially regulates the illumination apparatus in each compartment and activates the audio apparatus to enable the consumer to view merchandise in pictorial form, to hear audio descriptions of the merchandise in pictorial form and to observe how actual merchandise looks in a mirror.

    摘要： A sealing cap prevents viscous fluid leakage from a display device of the type adapted for producing a constantly changing completely random multi-colored effect by the action of air bubbles traveling upwardly through the fluid contained in narrow working chamber gaps between parallel light transmissive walls of the device. An illumination source is provided for transmitting light through the walls and the fluid. Bubbling air is supplied from a manifold at the lower ends of the fluid containing gaps and vents from the upper ends of the gaps. A selectively displaceable sealing cap guards against leakage from the vents when the device is shut down. A reflective surface over the outer face of the device provides an opaque appearance when it is shut down.

    摘要： Display apparatus suggesting a movement of the displayed objects and having an open front casing of which the front is closed off by a first transparent plate successively coated on the inside surface with a transparent dark layer and a semi-transparent white layer. A second transparent plate spaced at a slight distance behind the first plate bears a picture in the shape of surfaces coated with transparent colored layers and surrounded by an opaque layer serving as a background. The picture consists of a fixed portion which is permanently displayed and at least two portions which are alternately displayed. A plurality of light sources arranged with the casing behind the second plate each illuminate one of the portions and are screened with respect to each other by partitions. The light sources associated with the alternately displayed portions are alternately actuated by a program switch.
