The system may include an ion current sensor. The ion current sensor may access an engine cylinder for obtaining ion current data. A control unit may be in communication with the ion current sensor for receiving the ion current data. The control unit being configured to determine the auto-ignition quality of the fuel based on features of the ion current data.

摘要: A system for controlling a compression ignition engine includes: a speed obtaining section which obtains an engine speed; and an injection amount setting section which sets, in a start period after the start of cranking, a fuel injection amount to be injected by injectors in next and subsequent cycles. If an engine speed achieved by combustion in an (n−1)-th cycle is higher than or equal to a determination threshold value and lower than a lower limit of the resonance range, the injection amount setting section sets the fuel injection amount for the n-th cycle to a jump-over injection amount, and sets the fuel injection amount for the (n+1)-th cycle to a resonance induction reducing amount, which is smaller than the jump-over injection amount.

摘要: A fuel injection system for fuel metering may include an injection nozzle, which includes a nozzle body, a nozzle needle, and a nozzle orifice, wherein nozzle needle is disposed in the nozzle body; a control piston configured to mechanically and electrically contact the nozzle needle in an axial direction opposite to the nozzle orifice; a transmitter configured to communicate with a controller and electrically contact the nozzle needle via the control piston; wherein the controller is configured to determine an open state and a closed state between the nozzle needle and the nozzle body via an electrical signal detected by the transmitter; and wherein the controller is configured to adjust the open state and the closed state in correlation with a fuel injection quantity.

摘要: An assembly at least comprising a fuel injector for dual fuel operation of an internal combustion engine. The assembly includes a nozzle holder defining a fuel circuit and provided with a nose adapted in use to be in connection with a combustion space of an internal combustion engine, and first and second nozzles in communication with the fuel circuit in the nozzle holder for directly injecting liquid fuel into the combustion space of the internal combustion engine for ignition of a combustible mixture present in the combustion space. The first and second nozzles adjacent to the nose of the nozzle holder are interconnected by a cooling channel. At each actuation of a fuel pump upstream of the first and second nozzles, substantially a full volume of fuel pumped during actuation of the fuel pump is allowed to flow through the cooling channel and via the first and second nozzles.

摘要: A fuel pressure sensor diagnosis device includes an electronic control unit configured to drive a fuel supply device during electric traveling of a hybrid vehicle, to perform determination as to whether an output of a fuel pressure sensor is within a normal range after driving of the fuel supply device is started, and to perform a diagnosis to determine whether a malfunction has occurred in the fuel pressure sensor based on a result of the determination, the normal range being an assumed range of the output of the fuel pressure sensor in a case where the fuel pressure sensor normally functions and the fuel supply pressure is a prescribed upper limit pressure.

摘要: An in-cylinder pressure detecting apparatus for detecting a pressure in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine is provided. The in-cylinder pressure detecting apparatus comprises a pressure detecting element mounted on a tip-portion of a fuel injection device which injects fuel into the combustion chamber, and an amplifying circuit unit having an amplifying circuit which amplifies a signal output from the pressure detecting element and outputs a pressure detection signal. An in-cylinder pressure detecting unit integrated fuel injection device is configured by integrating an in-cylinder pressure detecting unit with the fuel injection device. The in-cylinder pressure detecting unit includes the pressure detecting element, the amplifying circuit unit, and a connecting member connecting the pressure detecting element with the amplifying circuit unit. The in-cylinder pressure detecting unit integrated fuel injection device is mounted on the internal combustion engine.
