    摘要: The invention relates to a unbonded flexible pipe and a method for manufacturing such pipe. The unbonded flexible pipe has a length and a center axis along its length, and comprises an internal sealing sheath around its center axis, a carcass arranged inside the internal sealing sheath, and at least one armor arranged around the internal sealing sheath. The carcass comprises at least one helically wound elongate carcass reinforcement element providing a plurality of carcass reinforcement element windings along the length of the pipe wherein the carcass reinforcement element windings surround and/or are surrounded by a polymer structure, which polymer structure locks said carcass reinforcement element windings relative to each other. Accordingly the carcass reinforcement element windings need not be directly interlocked with each, but are mainly or totally locked to each other by the polymer structure.

    摘要: A supply hose includes a core tube, a first layer, a second layer, and a sheath. The core tube defines a hollow interior that surrounds a central axis and is configured to transport fluid therethrough. The first layer and/or the second layer provide tensile strength to the supply line. The first layer is disposed about the core tube and includes a plurality of first fibers. The first fibers are braided about the core tube at a first angle, relative to the central axis. The second layer is disposed directly on the exterior surface of the first layer and includes a plurality of second fibers. The second fibers are braided about the exterior surface of the first layer at a second angle, relative to the central axis. The sheath may be disposed about the second layer.

    摘要: An expandable hose is provided which will expand to an extended length from a collapsed length and back again. The hose has a sidewall formed of a spirally wound flexible member which defines an axial passageway surrounding a center axis of said hose. Both side edges of the flexible member in the spirally wound position are engaged to a cap member which provides a skeletal structure to maintain the axial passageway open and to bias the hose back to a collapsed length from the extended length. A fold formed in the spirally wound flexible member allows for increased distance between the two side edges and an increased maximum extended length.

    摘要: A flexible shower arm includes a shaft pipe and a flexible spout. The shaft pipe comprises first and second end portions, first and second straight pipe portions, and a bent portion. The first end portion is connected to the water supply pipe provided generally horizontally. The flexible spout includes first and second end portions. The first end portion is connected to the second end portion of the shaft pipe. The first and second straight pipe portions meet each other at the bent portion with a predetermined angle so as to reduce water pressure and to prevent the flexible spout from being straightened out because of the water pressure. An overall shape of the flexible spout is adjusted so that a vertical location and an angular position of the second end portion of the flexible spout are adjusted.

    摘要: A hose which automatically expands longitudinally and automatically expands laterally upon the application of a fluid pressure is disclosed. The hose can automatically expand longitudinally up to six times its unexpanded or contracted length. Upon release of the fluid pressure within the hose, the hose will automatically contract to a contracted condition. The hose includes an inner tube made from an elastic material and an outer tube made from a non-elastic material. The inner tube is positioned concentrically within the outer tube in both a contracted condition and an expanded condition. The outer tube is secured to the inner tube only at a first end of the inner and outer tubes and at a second end of the inner and outer tubes. The outer tube moves laterally and longitudinally with respect to the inner tube when the tubes are transitioning between a contracted condition and an expanded condition.
