摘要： An archery bow includes a riser and a pair of flexible limbs extending from the riser, each limb having a distal end. At least one string extends between the limb distal ends and is movable between a drawn position and a fired position. A drop-away arrow rest mounted to the riser is movable between a raised position and a lowered position. The arrow rest is biased to the lowered position and includes a trigger sear for maintaining the arrow rest in the raised position. A cable guard arm is attached to and extends from the riser. A trigger assembly is carried by the cable guard arm and associated with the trigger sear. A trigger release is carried by and slidable along the cable guard arm. The trigger release is coupled with at least one string. The trigger release engages the trigger assembly and thereby disengages the trigger sear upon movement of the at least one string from the drawn position to the fired position.

摘要： The present invention relates to an improved arrow holder that facilitates the arrow/bow combination user's ability to carry a nocked arrow safely on the bow by pre-positioning the arrow for a quicker shot while keeping the arrow safely away from the user's body. The device of this invention comprises a single piece device made of neoprene rubber or other adequate material with a self-adhesive backing. The device of this invention not only permits the hunter to carry the arrow safely, in a semi-cocked position, but is also permits the hunter to get full draw on the bow in three (3) short, simple and efficient steps. The hunter requires less movement to operate the bow/arrow combination while never losing eye contact with his or her target.

摘要： An arrow rest comprises an arrow rest support arm pivotally mounted to the riser of a bow. The support arm is coupled to a cable guide of the bow through linkage that causes the support arm to rise relative to the riser of the bow as the cable is drawn to launch an arrow. As the cable is released to launch an arrow, the arrow rest drops to allow the fletching to pass the arrow rest without contact. In addition, as the arrow rest moves from a first resting position to a second pre-launch position and back again, a clamping mechanism grasps the shaft of the arrow when the support arm is in the resting position. As the support arm moves to the pre-launch position, the clamping mechanism releases the shaft of the arrow so that the arrow can be freely launched from the support arm without interference from the clamping mechanism.

摘要： The improved archery bow arrow rest includes an elongated bracket having a front end portion and opposite rear end. The front portion is adapted to be secured to the sidewall of an archery bow riser on the side of the riser opposite that which defines the arrow window of the bow. The rear end of the bracket has one end of a transverse bar secured thereto, with the opposite free end of the bar extending behind the arrow window when the bracket is secured to an archery bow. The bar preferably is secured by a spring to the bracket to bias the bar against counterclockwise rotation. The rest also includes a spaced parallel pair of inflexible arrow holder arms, the rear ends of which are secured to the bar. The central portions of the holder arms extend upwardly and forwardly of the bar for positioning in the arrow window. The front portions of the holder arms are bent down to form prongs which are at an angle extending toward each other to form a V. The lower ends of the prongs are spaced apart at least about 0.125 inch to provide clear passage for an arrow vane therebetween. Each of the prongs is at an angle of about 25-30 degrees from the vertical so as to securely hold an arrow against roll-off from the rest. Preferably, the prongs are injection molded in friction-free plastic and the lower ends of the prongs preferably include removeable extensions. The lengths of the holder arms can differ to more readily accommodate arrows with helical fletching.
