    摘要: A multi-stage turbine (16) is designed as an induction turbine with vapour induction in at least one intermediary stage. It is more particularly conceived as a radial-outward-flow type multi-stage turbine, with an axial main vapour inlet port (82) and an annular secondary vapour inlet port (84), which is arranged in the turbine (16) so as to annularly induce, in an intermediary stage of said turbine, a secondary vapour stream into an already partially expanded radial main vapour stream. The annular secondary vapour inlet port (84) comprises as a ring-zone (92) with through holes (94), which radially surrounds said axial main vapour inlet port (82) in a first turbine housing part (80). The axial vapour inlet port comprises a first tubular vapour inlet connection (82). The annular vapour inlet port comprises a second tubular vapour inlet connection (84) surrounding the first tubular vapour inlet connection (82), so as to define with the latter an annular space (86), wherein the ring-zone (92) with through holes (94) is arranged in this annular space (86).

    摘要: An axially aligned combustion engine with a rotationally fixed housing and rotationally disposed rotor is presented. Particularly, the rotor includes an engine assembly and one or more air compressor assemblies axially aligned about an axis within the housing. The engine assembly includes a plurality of radially disposed combustion chambers extending from a closed interior edge outward toward an at least partially open access port disposed at an outer peripheral edge of the engine assembly. As the engine assembly rotates within the housing, the radially disposed combustion chambers are successively aligned with or communicatively disposed with an air manifold to receive compressed air, actuator(s) to receive fuel and ignite the fuel, and an exhaust manifold to expel the combusted gases.

    摘要: A pressure gas engine having an inner first member of circular cross section with a periphery containing first energy conversion means for converting gas pressure to power and an outer second member extending around the first member and with a generally circular inner surface facing the outer surface of the first member and having second energy conversion means in the inner surface facing the first member and for converting gas velocity to power. In certain embodiments the inner and outer arrangements of the first and second members will be reversed. At least one of these first and second members is rotatable about an axis of rotation by the force exerted thereon due to the gas acting on its energy conversion means with one of the energy conversion means in either the first member or the second member comprising at least one and preferably a plurality of spaced converging-diverging nozzles each lying on a chord of its member that is less than the diameter and exhausting toward the other energy conversion means with the other energy conversion means comprising a series of impulse turbine buckets facing the nozzles. Each bucket is inclined with respect to its member and is adapted to be aligned with the nozzle exhaust on relative movement of the first and second members with respect to each other.
