    摘要： A refrigerator has a cool air duct having ports opened at areas adjacent to openings of a freezing compartment and a fresh food compartment respectively, a blowing fan for discharging air in the cool air duct so that air curtains for shutting off the openings of the freezing compartment and the fresh food compartment are generated, and a device for opening/closing the ports. When doors are opened, the opening/closing device opens the corresponding ports to the opened doors. Thus, the air curtains are formed both at the freezing compartment and the fresh food compartment.

    摘要： A refrigerator with an external air invasion prevention apparatus is disclosed. The refrigerator has a return duct, a duct cover, and an external air invasion prevention apparatus. The return duct has an air inlet portion and is formed in a wall separating a freezing room and a refrigerating room, and provides a passageway to circulate cooled air in the refrigerator. The duct cover has a plurality of air inlet holes and covers the air inlet portion. The external air invasion prevention apparatus closes and opens the plurality of air inlet holes according to opening and closing of a door of the refrigerator. External air which is air outside the refrigerator is prevented from flowing into the return duct. Further, the porous material is provided to absorb moisture in the cooled air when a moist cooled air is circulated through the return duct. Frost on the evaporator can be reduced due to the absorption of the moisture of the circulated cooled air.

    摘要： An improved, low cost conditioned air vestibule for use on a doorway of a refrigerated storage room permits unobstructed passage of vehicles while effectively reducing the exchange of air through the doorway and substantially eliminating precipitation both inside and outside the doorway by providing spaced inner and outer movable doors in a portal and extending across the doorway to define a closed entrance vestibule, and circulating conditioned air through the vestibule. Heated air is directed downwardly from adjacent the top of the doorway through the vestibule along substantially its full width and adjacent the surface of the inner or cold side door and air is withdrawn from the vestibule at the top of the doorway adjacent the outer or warm side door. The doors are spaced close together and actuators are provided for opening and closing both doors simultaneously to permit unobstructed passage of vehicles. Preferably, the doors are transparent strip doors permitting unobstructed vision through the vestibule while permitting passage through the doorway without opening the doors.
