    摘要: A synchronous machine drive apparatus is provided with a first exciting winding or windings having a first axis and second exciting windings having a second axis. A DC current responsive to the current of the armature windings is applied to the second DC exciting winding. A fundamental exciting current component I.sub.FO and an additional exciting component .DELTA.I.sub.F responsive to the current of the armature windings are applied to the first DC exciting winding or windings, whereby with respect to the current distribution around the gap of the synchronous machine, the armature reaction is correctly compensated.

    摘要: A starting control system for synchronous motors is provided in which the usual separately mounted discharge resistor is eliminated. A relatively high resistance coil of small size is wound on each field pole, in addition to the normal field winding, and these coils are connected together and utilized as a discharge resistor during starting of the motor.

    摘要: A synchronous electric machine having a stator is provided with a polyphase winding producing a rotating magnetic filed and an annular D.C. winding to produce a coaxial steady field. Sets of rotor poles are disposed in axially spaced transverse planes and permanent magnets consisting of ceramic material of high coercivity and having radially inner and outer faces of opposite polarity are disposed in each transverse plane between the poles, the polarity of the radially outer faces of the permanent magnets being opposed to that induced in adjacent poles by the D.C. winding.

    摘要: A polyphase synchronous A C motor having rectangular wave power input includes a stator having axially spaced core members, a D. C. winding between the core members and a polyphase winding extending through the core members. The rotor has two squirrel cage sections, one aligned within each core member and each squirrel cage section carries a pole piece. Each pole piece has a pair of diametrically opposed radially projecting poles and the poles of one pole piece are displaced 90* with respect to the poles of the other pole piece. The motor has a total of four circumferentially spaced poles and thus presents a pole pitch of 90* for each phase. The polyphase winding has at least one winding per phase. In one embodiment the poles have a circumferential width ( 90*) equal to the pole pitch and the polyphase windings have a like circumferential width. In another embodiment the poles have a circumferential width ( 60*) which is two-thirds of the pole pitch and, again, the polyphase windings have a like circumferential width.
