    摘要： The invention presents a method for conducting an on-line bidding session to accumulate a collective bid for a property. The bidding session is conducted over a computer network that includes a central computer, a number of remote computers, and communication lines connecting the remote computers to the central computer. According to the method, at least one bidding group is registered in the central computer. The bidding group can be an association, institution, or group of investors formed for the purpose of bidding together for the property. The bidding group has a total bid for the property which is tracked in the central computer. The central computer receives bids entered from the remote computers by members of the bidding group. Each bid includes an individual bid amount which is contributed to the total bid of the group to accumulate the collective bid for property.

    摘要： A system and method improves the effectiveness of logic duplication optimizations by dynamically allocating the usage of logic duplicates. Duplicate atoms in the user design are identified. Atoms satisfying heuristics can also be duplicated and added to the user design. During placement, a duplicate-aware cost function is used to determine the location on the programmable device of atoms driven by a duplicate atom. The duplicate-aware cost function evaluates the suitability of a potential location of a driven atom with respect to a source atom and any duplicates of the source atom. Following placement of the atoms of the user design, a rewiring phase establishes a connection between each driven atom and one of the duplicated source atoms. The duplicate-aware cost function can be used to evaluate sets of duplicate source atoms to optimize the operating speed, power consumption, and/or routability of a user design.

    摘要： An interactive health monitoring system. A multimedia processor is a electronic apparatus comprising a microprocessor, hardware, software, and a modem. One or more physiological data monitors are coupled to provide a signal representative of a user's physiological parameter to the multimedia processor through an isolated interface circuit. A hand-held program controller with directional buttons is operated by the user to control the various functions of the multimedia processor. A television is coupled to the multimedia processor to provide sound and a video display based upon output signals from the multimedia processor. Software necessary for the system and medical information are downloaded from a remote server based upon the user's operation of the hand-held program controller and also based upon predetermined software routines and data stored within the system.
