    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate that includes a display area and a peripheral area outside the display area, a display element on the display area, a peripheral circuit on the peripheral area, the peripheral circuit including a thin film transistor, a first shielding layer on the peripheral circuit. and a second shielding layer on the first shielding layer. At least one of the first shielding layer and the second shielding layer includes a hole. One shielding layer of the first shielding layer and the second shielding layer includes the hole and overlaps the other one of the first shielding layer and the second shielding layer.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a first area including at least one opening, a second area disposed around the first area, and a third area disposed between the first area and the second area. The second area includes a plurality of display elements, and the third area includes a groove. The display apparatus further includes a thin film encapsulation layer covering the plurality of display elements and including an inorganic encapsulation layer and an organic encapsulation layer, a planarization layer disposed over the groove, a first insulating layer disposed over the thin film encapsulation layer, a second insulating layer disposed over the planarization layer, and a cover layer overlapping the first end of the planarization layer and partially overlapping the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer. A first end of the planarization layer overlaps the thin film encapsulation layer, and the second insulating layer includes a first through hole.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate having a first area, a second area, and a bending area disposed therebetween. The substrate is bent at the bending area about a bending axis. An inorganic insulating layer is disposed over the substrate and includes an opening or groove corresponding to the bending area. An organic material layer fills the opening or groove. A first conductive layer extends from the first area to the second area through the bending area. The first conductive layer is disposed over the organic material layer and includes a multipath portion having a plurality of through holes. A length of the multipath portion, in a direction from the first area to the second area, is greater than a width of the opening or groove, in the direction from the first area to the second area.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and an input sensing unit disposed on the display panel. The display panel includes a base layer, a first signal line, a light emitting element, a first encapsulation inorganic layer, and a signal pad. The first signal line overlaps a display area and a non-display area and is connected to a transistor disposed in the display area. The first encapsulation inorganic layer is disposed on a second electrode of the light emitting element and overlaps the display area and the non-display area. The signal pad is electrically connected to the first signal line and disposed in the non-display area. The signal pad is connected to the first signal line through a first contact hole defined through the first encapsulation inorganic layer.

    Abstract: An input sensing unit includes a first sensing electrode, a second sensing electrode insulated from the first sensing electrode, a first sensing line connected to one end of the first sensing electrode, a second sensing line connected to the other end of the first sensing electrode, a third sensing line connected to one end of the second sensing electrode, a first bridge pattern connecting the first sensing line and the second sensing line, a second bridge pattern substantially parallel to the first bridge pattern, and a pad connected to the second bridge pattern. The first bridge pattern extends in a first direction and overlaps the first sensing electrode in the first direction, and the pad is disposed closer to the second bridge pattern than the first bridge pattern. Thus, the input sensing unit has improved reliability.
