The golf club head (20) has a volume between 300 cubic centimeters and 500 cubic centimeters. The golf club head (20) has a mass between 105 grams and 300 grams.

An epoxy-based composition (200) is placed at a face-sole junction (205) to lower the amplitude of the sound of the golf club head (40) during impact with a golf ball.
