摘要： A body member has a plurality of pegs projecting integrally in spaced relation and in a line. These pegs form individual hooking pegs for swivels of elongated fishing leaders and also form wrapping areas therebetween for leaders which are wrapped in a direction parallel with the pegs. The body member has a puncturable surface whereby the fish hook end of the leader can be anchored by sticking the point of the fish hook into the body member. In one embodiment, the body member is rectangular and is formed of two halves secured adhesively together along the line of the pegs and holding the pegs in projecting integral relation. In another embodiment, the body member with the pegs is in the form of a drum mounted on the end walls of a box-like frame and having a crank handle on one end.

摘要： A container for holding and protecting a fishing lure attached to the line of a fishing rod comprises a unitary envelope of rubber-like material. The envelope has an elongated rectangular body with pyramidal end regions. A normally closed slit in one face of the envelope extends from the apex of one end region to the apex of the other end region. When the ends of the container are squeezed toward each other, the slit opens providing a generally rectangular opening for the length of the container. An opening in the apex of one end region allows the line to pass out of the container. A hook on the container enables it to be attached to one of the line guide rings on the rod.

The second carrier is adapted for removable attachment to the first carrier. A plurality of pouches are provided on each of the carriers. The pouches are formed with parallel sides and a crimped lower seam such that they "puff" out to produce a voluminous storage pouch for storing of equipment therein. The equipment carrier may be customized by removal and replacement of the second carrier with a new carrier containing different tackle or equipment or a carrier having different pocket configurations.

摘要： A spindle for accommodating fishing tackle has an elongated cylindrical member rotatably mounted on a pair of double-hooked brackets. Each bracket has a downwardly open clip adapted to be mounted on a tray of a fishing tackle box. The lower end of each bracket has an upwardly open hook rotatably accommodating axles secured to the spindle. A crank secured to one axle is used to manually rotate the spindle. The spindle has an outer cylindrical surface having grooves for accommodating fishing tackle and leaders. Outwardly directed hooks located adjacent the grooves are used to anchor the fishing tackle to facilitate the winding of the tackle on the spindle. Fish hooks attached to leaders are embedded into the spindle to retain the leaders around the spindle.

摘要： A molded plastic tackle box is adapted for use by fishermen to store and transport items of tackle, bait, fishing accessories and other equipment. The box has a selectively movable storage deck adapted to temporarily and safely hold a limited number of such items. The storage deck may be mounted in the box during normal usage and transportation of the box. However while fishing, the storage deck may be mounted outside of the box on the side wall of the box. When the deck is so mounted, the lid of the box may be closed so as to prevent rain water and other casual water from getting into the box and to preclude the spillage of the contents of the box if it would happened to be bumped or tipped over.
