Abstract: A computer system performs live natural language processing (NLP) on data sources that are complex, remotely stored, and/or large, while satisfying restrictive time constraints. The computer system divides the NLP process into a batch NLP process and a live NLP process. The batch NLP process operates asynchronously over the relevant data set, which may be complex, remotely stored, and/or large, to summarize information into a summarized NLP data model. When the live NLP process is initiated, live NLP process receives as input the relevant information from the summarized NLP data model, possibly along with other data. The prior generation of the summarized NLP data model by the batch NLP process enables the live NLP process to perform NLP within time constraints that could not have been satisfied if the batch NLP process had not pre-processed the data set to produce the summarized NLP data model.

Abstract: A process of producing a surface-modified 3-dimensional article, the process comprising the steps of providing a radiation-curable composition, building-up a 3-dimensional article by radiation-curing the radiation-curable composition layer by layer, preferably by using a stereolithography or digital light processing unit, partially removing radiation-curable composition which sticks to the surface of the 3-dimensional article, treating only a portion of the surface of the 3-dimensional article to which the radiation-curable composition is stuck with particles, applying an additional curing step to the 3-dimensional article, preferably by applying heat and/or radiation. A 3-dimensional article which can be obtained by such a process and a kit of parts comprising such a 3-dimensional article.

Abstract: A custom tool for forming a dental restoration in a mouth of a patient. The custom tool includes a facial mold body for a patient-specific, customized fit with the facial side of at least one tooth of the patient, wherein the facial mold body includes a restorative portion, at least one aperture aligned with a portion of a surface of a tooth to be restored and at least one door having an inner surface forming a portion of the mold cavity encompassing missing tooth structure of the tooth to be restored, wherein the door mates with the aperture; a lingual mold body for a patient-specific, customized fit with the lingual side of the tooth of the patient, wherein the lingual mold body includes a restorative portion; wherein the facial mold body and lingual mold body are configured to interlock together; and wherein the facial mold body and lingual mold body are configured to combine with the tooth of the patient to form a mold cavity encompassing missing tooth structure of at least one tooth to be restored.

Abstract: A wound debridement system includes a wound dressing having an active layer (40) and a wound interface layer (10). The active layer is formed from one or more pneumatic members (45). The pneumatic members are arranged about a film layer (60), by which the pneumatic members are attached to the wound interface layer. A control unit (80) controls a drive unit (70) to intermittently apply pressure to the pneumatic members of the active layer. The pressure applied by the drive unit causes the pneumatic members to expand and contract. This movement of the pneumatic members is transferred to the wound interface layer, causing the wound interface layer to move relative to a tissue site to which the wound dressing is applied. The wound interface layer may be formed having an abrasive wound-facing surface, such that the movement of the wound interface layer causes a mechanical disruption and debridement of debris at the tissue site.

Abstract: A therapy system for treating a tissue site with negative-pressure therapy and/or fluid instillation therapy in response to information received from a diagnostic module is described. The therapy system may include a dressing, a negative-pressure source, a container, and a diagnostic module. The dressing be placed on the tissue site, and the negative-pressure source may be fluidly coupled to the dressing. The container may be fluidly coupled to the dressing and to the negative-pressure source to receive fluid from the tissue site. The diagnostic module may be exposed to gas associated with the fluid from the tissue site. The diagnostic module may comprise a sensor configured to detect a condition of the tissue site and to generate an output based on the detected condition. The sensor may be configured to detect a volatile organic compound. The diagnostic module may be positioned on the container.
