Abstract: A method includes: displaying a first view of a first application; detecting a first portion of a first input; if the first portion of the first input meets application-switching criteria, concurrently displaying portions of the first application view and a second application view; while concurrently displaying the portions of the application views, detecting a second portion of the first input; if the second portion of the first input meets first-view display criteria (liftoff of contact detected in a first region), ceasing to display the portion of the second application view and displaying the first application view; and if the second portion of the first input meets multi-view display criteria (liftoff of contact detected in a second region), maintaining concurrent display of a portion of the first application view and a portion of the second application view on the display after detecting the liftoff of the contact.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a user interface that includes one or more user interface elements. The device detects a contact on a touch-sensitive surface. The device detects a first increase in a characteristic intensity of the contact. In response to detecting the first increase, the device adjusts a property of a first user interface element from a first value to a second value. After adjusting the property, the device detects a decrease in the characteristic intensity of the contact. In response to detecting the decrease, in accordance with a determination that the first increase met intensity criteria, the device maintains the property above the first value. After detecting the decrease, the device detects a second increase in the characteristic intensity of the contact. In response to detecting the second increase, the device adjusts the property to a third value that is greater than the second value.

Abstract: An electronic device displays content of a first content item, wherein the first content item is one of a sequence of content items. The device detects a user input that includes movement of a contact in a respective direction on the touch-sensitive surface. Abstract: Systems and methods for providing and managing docked browser tabs are provided. In one exemplary method, a webpage may be open in a first tab in a browser application on an electronic device. In response to one or more inputs, the state of the webpage in the first tab may be changed. A user may request to open the webpage in a second tab that is different from the first tab; and it may then be determined whether the first tab is a docked tab and whether the webpage is associated with a docked tab. In accordance with a determination that the webpage is associated with a docked tab and that the first tab is a docked tab, the webpage is presented with the state of the webpage in the first tab. In accordance with a determination that the webpage is associated with a standard tab and that the first tab is not a docked tab, the webpage may be presented in the second tab with a state different from the state of the webpage in the first tab.

Abstract: A value of a display property of an affordance changes based a value of the same display property of the portion of content over which the affordance is displayed. Abstract: An electronic device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays a user interface of an application. The device detects a first portion of an input including a contact on the touch-sensitive surface, and then detects a second portion of the input including movement of the contact across the touch-sensitive surface. The device displays, during the movement, application views including an application view that corresponds to the user interface of the application and another application view that corresponds to a different user interface of a different application. The device then detects a third portion of the input, including a liftoff of the contact from the touch-sensitive surface. In response, the device, upon determining that application-switcher-display criteria are met, displays an application-switcher user interface, and upon determining that home-display criteria are met, the device displays a home screen user interface that includes application launch icons.
