    Abstract: A method for carrying out data integrity protection on a communication network. According to an implementation, a wireless communication device indicates, to a wireless network, the maximum data rate up to which integrity protection is supported for user plane data. A network node (e.g., a node of the core network, such as an SMF) receives this information and determines whether or not to enable integrity protection for user plane data based on the information (possibly in conjunction with other information such as the minimum data rate to be supported, etc.). The network node then communicates the decision to enable or disable integrity protection to a RAN node (e.g., a wireless base station).

The system includes a first network element and a second network element. The first network element is configured with an anchor link of a radio bearer for a terminal, and the second network element is configured with a first secondary link and a second secondary link of the radio bearer; where the anchor link includes a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity and a first radio link control (RLC) entity, the first secondary link includes a second RLC entity, and the second secondary link includes a third RLC entity; and where a data transmission is performed between the PDCP entity and the first RLC entity, the second RLC entity and the third RLC entity.

    Abstract: Provided is a data packet transmission method and device. The method includes: generating, by a first network element, first indication information according to a delivery status fed back by a second network element to the first network element, where the first indication information is used for instructing the second network element which has not successfully sent a data packet to a terminal to discard the data packet indicated by the first indication information.     Abstract: The disclosure discloses an authentication method and system for a wireless mesh network. The method comprises: when a new node accesses a network and the node is a Mesh Point (MP), the MP selects one authenticated node from neighbor nodes as a father node, and a uniquely identified secure path exists between the father node and an AC; the MP uses the father node as an authentication point to perform authentication; and after being transmitted to the AC through the secure path between the father node and the AC, which then forwards an authentication message to an AS; similarly, a return message of the AS is forwarded by the AC to the father node through the secure path, and the MP is authenticated. The authentication message is saved on the AC at the same time, so as to facilitate the second authentication of the MP.
