The configuration of the bale support system also may minimize a total path distance through which bales (3) may be moved, perhaps decreasing the amount of time required to accumulate bales (3).

摘要： A lift mechanism is mounted to a support for raising and lowering a bed. The lift mechanism is attached to a side of the bed and includes at least one chain, at least one bed bracket connected to the chain, and a drive mechanism for controllably moving the chain to move the bed bracket and the bed between a respective raised position and lowered position. The bed bracket includes a chain connector for connecting to the chain, a chain guide member receiving the chain and attached to the chain connector, and a bed support member attaching to the chain guide member and to the bed. At least a portion of the bed support member is inserted through the chain guide member. The bed bracket is compact and easy to manufacture and provides a secure connection between the lift mechanism and the bed.

A floor (7) of the battery compartment (2) of the industrial truck can be provided with at least one opening (8; 9) for receiving one or more rollers of the roller conveyor (5).

摘要： A highway motor vehicle is equipped to be driven by a handicapped person in a mobility chair. The preferred embodiment permits rear passenger seating commonly found in automobiles and includes a rear stowage compartment for purchased items. The vehicle has a powered hatch and ramp. This hatch and ramp permit a handicapped person to enter to the driving position in a wheelchair. Wheelchair wheel locks and seatbelts secure the wheelchair and handicapped person in place in the driver's position in the vehicle. The hatch is closable and the ramp withdrawable so that the vehicle is drivable on the highway. Collapsible and rotatable steering controls are either part of the front hatch or are rotatably mounted to the floor and moved into a position in front of the driver. Steering and other operational controls may be geared or electronic to suit the handicapped person's abilities.

摘要： A machine lift having a base secured to a vehicle floor adjacent the rearward end thereof at one side thereof. A rotatable pedestal is mounted on the base and extends upwardly therefrom. An elongated screw actuator extends between the pedestal and the lift arm for raising and lowering the platform with respect to the vehicle. The platform may be moved from a position wherein it is positioned on the floor of the vehicle adjacent the other side thereof at the rearward end thereof to a position rearwardly of the vehicle which enables the screw actuator to lower the platform onto the ground rearwardly of the vehicle.

摘要： A method and apparatus for supplying bulk material to an end user includes the step of providing a bulk material source that is at a location distant from the end user and a specially configured vessel and trailer apparatus for transporting the bulk material to the end user. The vessel is filled with bulk material at the bulk material source and then transported with a specially configured trailer. Alternatively, at source or destination, the vessel can remain as a temporary storage device, free-standing from the trailer. Other similar container configurations are provided as alternate containers for use with the method of the present invention. During transport between the bulk material source and the end user, the vessel is filled or partially filled with a selected bulk material. During transport, the vessel is in a generally horizontal position, supported by the trailer and a specially configured elevator. The vessel is unloaded from the trailer by moving the vessel longitudinally along the trailer and by transferring the vessel from a generally horizontal position upon the trailer to an elevated upright position. The vessel is then lowered from the elevated position to a lowered, final installed position that is behind the trailer. The vessel is preferably loaded with between about 1 and 50,000 pounds of bulk material. The vessel preferably has a volume of between about 500 and 2,000 cubic feet. The same trailer can be used to load an empty vessel. Specially configured outriggers help align the elevator with the vessel during loading of a vessel to the trailer. Different connecting frames can be used as an interface between the elevator and the vessel for differently configured vessels. In an alternate embodiment a trailer—rail—trailer system is disclosed wherein a trailer to transport a vessel to a first terminal, a special rail frame is attached to the vessel enabling a rail car to transport the vessel from a first to a second terminal and a trailer can transport the vessel from the second terminal to a worksite.
