Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a backscatter communication method and a related apparatus. The method includes: An excitation device determines a first sequence, generates a first signal, and sends the first signal, where the first signal carries the first sequence; after receiving the first signal, a backscatter device modulates backscatter device data onto the received first signal to obtain a second signal, and backscatters the second signal, to implement first scrambling on the backscatter device data by using the first sequence; and a receiving device determines the first sequence, receives the second signal from the backscatter device, and demodulates the received second signal based on the first sequence, to obtain the backscatter device data carried on the second signal.

Abstract: A PTRS processing method and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, first indication information and second indication information from a network device, where the first indication information is used to indicate a time-domain location at which a PTRS is to be sent by the terminal, and the second indication information is used to indicate an offset of an initial time-domain location to which the PTRS is mapped by the terminal; mapping, by the terminal, the PTRS to one or more DFT-s-OFDM symbols based on the first indication information and the second indication information; and sending, by the terminal, the one or more DFT-s-OFDM symbols. In this way, the PTRS mapped to the DFT-s-OFDM symbol is offset at a DFT-s-OFDM symbol level, so that PTRS collision between terminals can be avoided to an extent, thereby improving phase tracking precision.

The method includes: generating one or more OFDM symbols, where at least one OFDM symbol includes a PTRS resource block, the PTRS resource block includes at least two of three sequences: a PTRS sequence of Y elements, X elements after the PTRS sequence, and Z elements before the PTRS sequence, and the PTRS resource block occupies a plurality of consecutive resource elements REs, where X, Y, and Z are all integers; and sending the one or more OFDM symbols. According to the foregoing method and apparatus, inter-carrier interference is reduced, thereby improving spectral efficiency.

Abstract: A random access/responding method and device are provided. In some embodiments, at least two random access preambles can be received before responding to random access of a terminal device, where each of the at least two random access preambles includes at least one sequence. In some embodiments, one random access preamble can be received before responding to random access of a terminal device, where the one random access preamble includes at least two sequences. The sequences in the received random access preambles can be checked. A successfully detected sequence or a random access preamble with the successfully detected sequence can then be responded to. In this way, responding to a plurality of successfully detected random access preambles or a plurality of successfully detected sequences included in one random access preamble is implemented.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a relay transmission method, where a first node is a parent node of a second node. In those embodiments, a request message from the first node can be received by the second node, where the request message is configured to request the second node to become a parent node of the first node. Still in those embodiments, indication information can be sent, by the second node, to the first node, where the indication information is used to indicate that a downlink beam sent from the second node to the first node after the second node becomes the parent node is the same as or similar to an uplink beam sent from the second node to the first node when the first node is the parent node. The indication information may be carried in a response message for the request message.
