Abstract: A display panel includes a first substrate, a pixel array, a peripheral circuit, a first protection layer, a second protection layer, a display medium, and a second substrate. The first substrate array has a display area and a peripheral area, wherein the pixel array is disposed in the display area, the peripheral circuit is disposed in the peripheral area, and the pixel array and the peripheral circuit are electrically connected. The first protection layer is disposed on the display area and the peripheral area to cover the pixel array and the peripheral circuit. The second protection layer is at least disposed on the first protection layer within the peripheral area. Here, the second protection layer includes a color filter material layer, a black matrix material layer, a photo spacer material layer, or a combination thereof. The second substrate is disposed above the first substrate to expose the peripheral area.
