    摘要： A power tool for cutting a workpiece including a casing, an auxiliary handle assembly extending from the casing, a motor disposed at least partially in the casing, and a drive transmission operably coupled to the motor. The drive transmission outputs a driving force in response to an input from the motor. A spindle locking mechanism is provided that is selectively positionable between a retracted position spaced apart from the drive transmission and a locked position engaging the drive transmission. The spindle lock mechanism thereby prevents rotation of the drive transmission in response to actuation of a pad member. The pad member can be positioned adjacent to the auxiliary handle to permit single-handed holding of the power tool and actuation of the pad member.

    摘要： A power tool is provided with a hanger having multiple discrete width positions to engage materials of different thicknesses. The power cord is installed in the tool housing with an extra length of cable between the cord clamp and the portion of the tool housing that secures the cord protector. A crimp-on device is installed on the power cord cable next to the cord protector. When the cord is subjected to jerking, the cable moves axially relative to the cord protector. As the cable moves, the crimp-on device compresses the extended end of the cord protector absorbing energy and reducing the forces transmitted to the cord set conductors. A rip guide includes a long guide edge and two attachment points to the shoe/base of the saw. The rip guide is attached to the base/shoe via a pair of L-shaped openings that accept L-shaped support arms of the rip guide.

    摘要： A storage container for housing drill bits includes a front housing portion and a rear housing portion pivotally connected through a hinge for moving between open and closed positions. The front housing portion and the rear housing portion define a body cavity therebetween in the closed position. A plurality of sleeves are pivotally and independently connected to the hinge and arranged to fit within the body cavity in the closed position. The plurality of sleeves each include a plurality of bore portions formed thereon for accepting the drill bits. The plurality of sleeves further include hinge arms for cooperating with the hinge.
