摘要： A method of coating a stent is presented such that less than 50% of the total amount of 40-O-(2-hydroxyl)ethyl-rapamycin, or an analog or derivative thereof, is released in vivo in a 24 hour period, wherein the method comprises exposing the coating to sufficient temperature to modify the structure of the polymer.

摘要： The system and method of the invention describes a unique approach to gathering patient treatment information in summary form from a universe of health care providers, each using any form of patient information management; converting that information to pointers that can be searched by a healthcare provider before or during treatment to determine if further information needs to be acquired from the original provider; and a variety of methods to provide access to detailed healthcare treatment and diagnosis information from the original provider through an access and display method provided by the Health Care Provider housing the records if available. The system and method envisages one or more providers of repository services, each offering various ways for healthcare providers to update and maintain summary information, and each providing for continual exchange of information among them to ensure complete access to all available information.

The system and method involve embedding a control data block (Ik0) within a plurality of real data blocks (IN0). Preferably, real data in the real data blocks (INO) is convoluted with at least some of the control data in the control data block (Ik0) For example, each entry in each real data block (INO) may be phase convoluted with phase angle of the corresponding entry in the control block using an encoding module. Once this is done, the real data in the real data blocks and additionally the control data block in the control block is modulated with every sub carrier.

摘要： A drug-delivery system is provided including at least 100 μg of everolimus and clobetasol, such that the ratio of everolimus to clobetasol is at least 10:1 (w/w) or the amount of everolimus by weight is at least 10 times more than clobetasol. The system can be a stent. Also provided a method of treating restenosis or vulnerable plaque of a blood vessel, the method includes locally administering to a patient a first drug selected from a group consisting of rapamycin (sirolimus), Biolimus A9, deforolimus, AP23572, tacrolimus, temsirolimus, pimecrolimus, zotarolimus (ABT-578), 40-O-(2-hydroxy)ethylrapamycin (everolimus), 40-O-(3-hydroxy)propylrapamycin, 40-O-[2-(2-hydroxy)ethoxy]ethylrapamycin, 40-O-tetrazolylrapamycin and 40-epi-(N1-tetrazolyl)rapamycin, and locally administering to a patient a second drug consisting of clobetasol, wherein the minimum amount of the first drug that is locally administered is 100 μg, and wherein the ratio of the first drug to the second drug is, for example, 10:1 to 100:1 (w/w).
