Abstract: A system and method is provided for programmatically creating advertisements effective and suitable for display on a small display screen of a mobile device. The system comprises means for programmatically acquiring advertisement data of a local business, which may include acquiring the advertisement data through accessing a third party data aggregator using open APIs thereof. The system further comprises means for receiving real-time location information of the mobile device. The system further comprises means for programmatically creating a banner ad based on the acquired advertisement data and the received real-time location information of the mobile device. The system may further means for programmatically creating a display ad. The created banner ad or display ad displays information identifying or promoting the local business as well as information indicating location of the local business relative to the real-time location information of the mobile device.

Abstract: A worm gear drive has a self locking gear train. The gear train comprises a worm 34 fitted to a motor shaft 32 and in mesh with a worm wheel 35 which drives the output 26. The motor shaft 32 extends between two thrust bearings 29, 60 having faces 54 which contact respective axial ends of the motor shaft 32. The contact between at least one of the thrust bearings 29 and the shaft 32 is adapted to provide a high frictional force.
