The axle and the drum hammer are driven to rotate by the transmission element to rotate as the second end of the pedal pivots.

摘要： A pedal system includes a support element, a connecting shank, a transmission element and a returning element. The support element has a pedal and a rotatable axle. The axle inserts through the connecting shank in a rotational operative relationship. The returning element includes a connecting body, a rod unit, a positioning element and a resilient member. The connecting body is disposed on the axle. The resilient member connects between the connecting body and a connecting end of the rod unit. The connecting end of the rod unit is movable with respect to the support element so as to adjust an angle included between an orientation of the resilient member and that of an upright frame of the support element. The positioning element selectively fixes a relative position between the rod unit and the support element, so as to further fix the angle.

摘要： An adjustment assembly for a drum includes two bodies, two hollow nuts, a connector and two mounting bolts. Each body has a connecting hole. The connecting hole is defined through the body and has a keyed countersink defined in the connecting hole. Each hollow nut is mounted in the connecting hole of a corresponding body and is allowed epicyclic motion in the connecting hole without rotating. The connector is mounted securely in the connecting holes of the bodies. Each mounting bolt is mounted in a corresponding hollow nut and has a flange. Therefore, the mounting bolts can be aligned with and mounted respectively in the connecting nuts easily because of the allowed movement of the connecting nuts.

摘要： A magnetic knife holder has an elongated body having a surface with a flat bottom, two sides, a top and a front, multiple magnet recess formed in the surface of the body, multiple magnets respectively mounted in the magnet recesses and multiple knife slots formed longitudinally in the front of the body for receiving knives. With magnetic attraction force provided by the magnets, knives can be held securely in the knife slots in the body to avoid spilling out of the knife slots when the body is inadvertently turned over and the body can be conveniently attached to a metallic furniture. Additionally, at lease one of the sides and the top of the body is flat such that multiple magnetic knife holders can be neatly juxtaposed or stacked up together.

Each tension control device is mounted on the drum shell and has a mounting post, a connector and two adjusting bolts. Each captive washer presses against the drum hoop and has a flange, a lip, an annular groove and a through hole. The annular groove is formed between the flange and the lip and is mounted securely in an elongated groove in the drum hoop to hold the captive washer in the drum hoop. The through hole extends longitudinally through the captive washer.
