摘要: Methods and systems for mutual authentication and personalizing a transaction device, such as a payment, transaction, or identity card. Successively generated one time codes are calculated by a first and second entity. One of the codes is transmitted to the second entity, which verifies the code is proper, then encrypts a second one time code using a third one time code and transmits the encrypted data to the first entity. The first entity decrypts the data using the third one time code, verifies the encrypted second one time code is proper, thereby mutually authenticating, and establishing a shared encryption key for subsequent communications, including transmission of personalization data.

摘要: Systems and methods for providing expanded compatibility in identification tags such as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) devices. Integrated devices can be equipped with various combinations of passive and active tags configured for compatibility with passive and active readers, respectively. Additionally, the integrated devices can be equipped with various combinations of passive and active tag readers for compatibility with passive and active tags, respectively. A first combination comprises an active tag and a passive tag reader for collecting information over a passive channel, and sending the information over an active channel. A second combination comprises an active tag and a passive tag receiver/transceiver for communication over both active and passive channels. A third combination comprises an active tag and an active tag reader for collecting information over an active channel, and sending information over an active channel.

摘要: In some embodiments, a method comprises receiving a request from a customer to temporarily associate a token issued to the customer with a payment account associated with the customer, and temporarily associating the token with the payment account in response at least in part to the request. In some embodiments, a method comprises issuing a token to a customer before the token is associated with a payment account; and arranging for the customer to have an ability to request that the token be associated with a payment account and usable as a payment token. In some embodiments, a method comprises receiving a mapping associating an identifier of a token with a payment account; receiving the identifier from a point of sale system; and determining the payment account based at least in part on the mapping and the identifier received from the point of sale system. In some embodiments, apparatus comprises: a processing system to: receive a request from a customer to temporarily associate a token issued to the customer with a payment account associated with the customer, and temporarily associate the token with the payment account in response at least in part to the request. In some embodiments, apparatus comprises: a processing system to: receive a mapping associating an identifier of a token with a payment account; receive the identifier from a point of sale system; and determine the payment account based at least in part on the mapping and the identifier received from the point of sale system.

摘要: The present invention provides devices, systems, methods and kits for the percutaneous removal of unwanted tissue or obstructive matter from body cavities or lumens, particularly from the vasculature. Blood vessels, including the coronary, peripheral and neurovascular circulation, which are narrowed or blocked by atheromatous material or plaque are often treated with traditional endarterectomy procedures. The present invention allows the benefits of such a procedure with an intraluminal approach, particularly a percutaneous approach. Generally, the present invention provides a set of catheters or tools which are percutaneously introduceable to the site of the blockage or occlusion. The tools dissect or cut through the innermost tissue layer of the lumen to an underlying tissue layer. The innermost tissue layer is then stripped away from the underlying layer with the occlusive material thereattached. The detached tissue layer and occlusive material is then removed from the lumen; this may include additional cutting, maceration and removal through mechanical aspiration. In any case, the resulting lumen is free of obstruction.
