    Abstract: An aerial vehicle may include a first wing structure. The aerial vehicle may further include a first propeller and a second propeller disposed along the first wing structure. The aerial vehicle may further include a second wing structure disposed to intersect the first wing structure to form a cross configuration. The aerial vehicle may further include a third propeller and a fourth propeller disposed along the second wing structure. In a hovering orientation of the aerial vehicle, respective propeller rotational axes of the first and second propellers may be angled off-vertical in respective planes which may be perpendicular to a transverse axis of the first wing structure, and respective propeller rotational axes of the third and fourth propellers may be angled off-vertical in respective planes which may be perpendicular to a transverse axis of the second wing structure.

    Abstract: An airport ground collision alerting system and a method of operating an airport ground collision alerting system. The airport ground collision alerting system comprises an automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast, ADS-B, receiver; a first database coupled to the ADS-B receiver and configured for look-up of aircraft type data based on aircraft ID data received via the ADS-B receiver and for storing aircraft position and heading data received via the ADS-B receiver; a second database configured to store digital map data for one or more airports; a processor unit coupled to the first and second databases and an application programming interface, API, configured to couple the airport ground collision alerting system to a display device.

    Abstract: A method for piloting a pre-existing aircraft comprising the following steps: integrating an alternative piloting system (1) into the pre-existing aircraft; connecting the aircraft (200) and a ground station in which a ground pilot (207) is positioned; when the aircraft is in a normal state, having the aircraft piloted by a nominal crew; using detection means to detect the occurrence of an emergency situation and, when the occurrence of the emergency is detected: making the ground pilot (207) operational, so that the ground pilot can produce an aircraft ground piloting set-point; transmitting the ground piloting setpoint to the aircraft; using the alternative piloting system to acquire and transmit the ground piloting setpoint to the aircraft flight control system.
