摘要： The present invention is intended to provide an economical printer which is simple in structure and uses a common tray but is capable of adapting itself to various recording media of different shapes. Adapters in which recording media can be firmly held can be selectively mounted in the tray. An adapter 24 has an oval opening 24a in which a recording medium 30 can be placed. The contour of the adapter 24 can fit into a recessed portion 23a formed in the tray 23. The recording medium 30 is firmly held in the adapter 24. When the adapter 24 is mounted in the recessed portion 23a in the tray 23, a keyway 23b and a protrusion 24b engaging the keyway 23b prevent the adapter 24 from shifting out of position; the adapter is held in the tray 23. Prints can be made in accurate positions on the recording medium 30.

摘要： An impact dot printer has a print head which reciprocates back and forth in front of a rotationally driven platen to print dot matrix characters on a recording medium. The print head includes a single print hammer actuated by an electromagnetic driver. A succession of print timing signals are produced in synchronism with the rotational speed of the platen, and a home signal is generated each time the print head leaves its home position during the printing of each line. A control circuit initiates the printing of each line in response to the first print timing signal produced after generation of the home signal and controls the application of driving pulses to the electromagnetic driver so as to synchronize the actuation of the print hammer with the platen rotation.

摘要： A lens barrier apparatus includes: swingable sectors opening and closing an opening, a swinging member swinging the sectors; and a drive portion driving the swinging member, and one ends of bias members biasing the sectors in a closing direction are provided at the sectors, the other ends of the bias members are provided at the swinging member, and when the sectors are at a closed position closing the opening, the swinging member is driven in the closing direction of the sectors against biasing forces of the bias members.
