Abstract:
A preparation process of a purified green tea extract including mixing a green tea extract treated with an enzyme having a tannase activity in a mixed solution containing an organic solvent and water at a mass ratio exceeding 90/10 and not greater than 97/3, and separating a precipitate thus formed. The process is for producing a purified green tea extract, from a green tea extract, containing non-polymer catechins in high concentration, which can improve the taste by reducing bitterness/astringency and miscellaneous tastes caused by dietary fibers of green tea, provide a reduced protein content, and make it easy to drink.
Abstract:
A plurality of control packages 100 are mounted on both sides of a basic chassis 11 of a disk array device. A cable clamping mechanism 300 is disposed on the underside of the control packages 100 positioned in the space between the control packages 100 and a power unit 400. A rail portion 310 is disposed parallel to the direction in which the control packages 100 are arranged. A number of clamp cores 320 corresponding to the number of the control packages (CHA) are movably disposed on the rail portion 310. Each clamp core 320 corresponds to each of the control package 100, and clamps cables in control package units. Even when tensile force acts on the cables 200 from below, the present invention prevents this force from acting directly on a control package 100.
Abstract:
According to the present invention, a portion of the storage control device is configured as a detachable separation-type storage bay and a large volume of data can be moved altogether by transporting the storage bay. The separation-type storage bay is detachably provided in the device main body of the storage control device. The storage bay comprises a plurality of disk drives. When a backup of the primary volume is created, a secondary volume is created in the storage bay and data is copied. The storage bay is removed from the device main body by the user and attached to a backup storage control device. The backup storage control device recognizes the storage configuration of the storage bay by acquiring management information when the storage bay is attached to the backup storage control device. The backup storage control device reads the backup data from the storage bay and stores the backup data in the backup device.
Abstract:
A data processing method for a disk array device capable of achieving a duplex system of data and improving performance of the same device while a quantity of processing for writing into a cache memory (through a switch) is reduced. In the disk array device, a host interface portion comprises a nonvolatile memory portion for saving data written from a host computer/server, and a data transfer control portion for transferring write data from the host computer/server to the nonvolatile memory portion and a global cache memory portion. If a write request is received from the host computer/server, a data transfer control portion transfers the write data from the host computer/server to the nonvolatile memory portion and to the global cache memory portion through a switch portion.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing an amino acid selected from the group consisting of L-alanine, L-valine, L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-methionine, L-phenylalanine, L-proline, glycine, L-serine, L-threonine, L-cysteine, L-tyrosine, L-asparagine, L-glutamine, L-lysine, L-histidine, L-arginine, L-aspartic acid and L-glutamic acid and useful as medicament, chemical agent, food material and feed additive at high industrial efficiency, the method comprising culturing a microorganism having an ability to produce the amino acid and having resistance to an aminoquinoline derivative in a medium, producing and accumulating the amino acid in the present invention in the culture, and recovering the amino acid from the culture.
Abstract:
A light-projecting device comprises an ocular optical system facing an emergent opening of a hollow pentagonal mirror. A light source is provided outside the emergent opening, to output an illumination light beam, by which a superimpose-plate is illuminated so that a focusing mark formed on the superimpose-plate is radiated. A light-projecting prism is provided beside the ocular optical system, to reflect the illumination light beam output from the light source, toward the emergent opening. The optical axis, extending between the light source and the light-projecting prism, is approximately parallel to the plane of the emergent opening.
Abstract:
A real-image finder optical system includes a positive objective optical system, an erecting optical system, and a positive eyepiece optical system, thereby an object image, which is formed by the objective optical system, and is upside down and reversed from left to right, is reinverted by the erecting optical system to the proper orientation. The erecting optical system includes a plurality of reflection surfaces, at least one of which is provided along an optical path on the object side with respect to the position where the object image is formed, and at least another of which is provided along an optical path on the eyepiece side with respect to the position where the object image is formed. The eyepiece optical system includes a positive lens element having a transverse magnification of more than 1.0 provided between the object image (finder image) and the reflection surface provided on the eyepiece side with respect to the position where the object image is formed.
Abstract:
An apparatus for use in a storage device having at least two clusters, each including a disk control device having a plurality of channel controllers that send and receive commands and data to and from an upper system, a plurality of disk controllers that control disk units, and a cache that temporarily stores data between the upper system and the disk units. The apparatus includes a first bus included in a first cluster. The first bus is connected to the channel controller, the disk controller and the cache of the first cluster. A second bus is included in a second cluster. The second bus is connected to the channel controller, the disk controller and the cache of the second cluster. A common resource is connected to the first bus of the first cluster and the second bus of the second cluster. The common resource includes a specified set of data which is commonly accessible from each of the channel controllers or the disk controllers of the clusters.
Abstract:
A cemented lens group includes two lens elements, cementing surfaces of the two lens elements being cemented to each other by an adhesive, wherein the adhesive forms an adhesive layer between the cementing surfaces. A filler made of minute solid material is dispersed throughout the adhesive layer. Alternatively, a spacer which determines the thickness of the adhesive layer is provided around the peripheral portions of the cementing surfaces.
Abstract:
A discharge gas containing PFC gas including CF4 and NF3 generated from a manufacturing process (10) is adsorbed at an adsorbing device (18) and then desorbed using nitrogen as a purge gas. A desorbed gas with CF4 and NF3 concentrated can be obtained in this manner. The desorbed gas is then supplied to a chromatographic separator (20) for chromatographic separation with nitrogen as a carrier gas. In this manner, CF4 and NF3 within the PFC gas can be separated. In particular, because the gas is once concentrated at the adsorbing device (18), chromatographic separation of the gas constituents can be efficiently performed. By independently concentrating CF4 and NF3 obtained by the chromatographic separation, high purity gas constituents of the PFC gas can be obtained, and reused at the manufacturing process (10).
