    摘要: A camera device is provided which has a compound eye structure only by a liquid lens unit and a control unit without requiring a plurality of lenses to be mounted in advance and is capable of taking a three-dimensional stereoscopic video image. In addition, a compact and lightweight three-dimensional stereoscopic camera is provided which can be switched to take a two-dimensional planar image or to take a three-dimensional stereoscopic image only by an electronic control with no need for a movable mechanism and can reduce the power consumption and improve the reliability. A camera device comprises a liquid lens (182) switchable to a single eye lens and a compound eye lens; and a switching unit for switching the liquid lens (182) to the single eye lens to take a planar image and switching the liquid lens (182) to the compound eye lens to take a stereoscopic image.

    摘要: A media utilization administering device reads a medium ID saved in a memory card, obtains last update time information indicating the respective times during a data transfer at specified time intervals, and stores state information including the medium ID and the last update time information in a utilization administration memory. The media utilization administering device also stores the last update time information as the state information in the memory card. A transfer resumption judging device compares the medium IDs and the last update time information included in the state information and saved in both the memory card attached and the utilization administration memory when the data transfer was started. If the state information held by both agree as a result of the comparison, a transfer resumption controlling device causes a data transfer processing device to resume the data transfer from a position on the data indicated by the last update time information.

    摘要: A video server is interconnected through a LAN and the like to other video servers, allowing data transmission/reception among the video servers. Users are connected through a network to a server managing portion. The server managing portion receives access from the users to make an instruction to the video server. An access amount managing portion manages an access amount of the video server to determine whether to perform expanding processing of a VOD service. When the expanding processing is to be performed, a data copy processing portion checks an amount in the other video server, and copies data to the other video servers as required. Then, the server managing portion distributes access processing. It is thus possible to improve expandability of the VOD service as to data and the like to which a large amount of access is made in the video server, allowing the availability of a comfortable VOD service system to the users.
