Also, in an optical waveguide device according to the invention, the cores (202) and the light receiving elements (203) may be paired and provided in a plurality each, and the light receiving elements (203) may be divided into odd-number and even-number groups, which are arranged with some spacing between them, the odd-number and even-number groups being blocked from each other by optically non-transmissive material (301).
