    Abstract: Provided is an image processing apparatus including: a region comparison unit configured to receive first luminance information corresponding to a first image signal and second luminance information corresponding to a second image signal, and to generate third luminance information by using the first and second luminance information; a region determination unit configured to calculate a brightness level value for the first image signal by using the first luminance information; a reliability determination unit configured to calculate a reliability determination value for the first image signal by using the first luminance information; an extraction unit configured to generate a luminance correction threshold value of the first image signal by using the brightness level value and the reliability determination value; and an interpolation unit configured to output corrected luminance information for the first luminance information by using the luminance correction threshold value and the third luminance information.

    Abstract: An object tracking method using traffic information, includes the steps of: receiving a travel route request for a first vehicle from a terminal; and allowing a database, in which a record for each of a plurality of frames included in images captured by a plurality of cameras for photographing traffic information is stored and includes an object tag and an event tag recognized in each frame, to provide, while searching for the record in chronological order, route information including photographing position information and/or images corresponding to a continuous first record section including an object tag corresponding to first vehicle information, a second record including an object tag and a stopover event tag corresponding to the first vehicle information, and a continuous third record section, which is continuous to the second record and includes an object tag corresponding to first person information included in the stopover event tag of the second record.

    Abstract: A shutter operation state monitoring method performed in a thermal imaging camera includes, controlling a shutter of the thermal imaging camera to be closed, capturing a first thermal image, calculating a correction offset value for the first thermal image, controlling the shutter to be opened, capturing a second thermal image, applying the correction offset value to the second thermal image, measuring a sound with a microphone when controlling the shutter to be closed and/or when controlling the shutter to be opened, determining whether the measured sound matches an operation sound of the shutter, and outputting an alarm indicating malfunction of the shutter if the measured sound does not match the operation sound.

    Abstract: A door lock control device comprises: a door lock interface for communicating with a door lock; an imaging device; a controller for processing images to be acquired through the imaging device; and a storage medium. The controller determines each of first and second objects in the images as being either authorized or unauthorized depending on whether each of the first and second objects matches authentication data read from the storage medium, and controls the door lock through a door lock interface by referring to a distance between the first and second objects determined from the images when the first object is determined as being authorized and the second object is determined as being unauthorized.

    Abstract: A camera assembly includes a motor configured to generate a driving power; a motor shaft that extends from the motor, such as to define a first axis, and is configured to rotate by the driving power of the motor; a pulley configured to rotate on a second axis, that is spaced from the first axis, according to rotation of the motor shaft; a belt configured to couple the motor shaft and the pulley, and convert the rotation of the motor shaft to rotation of the pulley, and tension of the belt applies a force to the motor shaft in a direction towards the second axis; a camera module configured to be mounted on the pulley and rotate together with the pulley; and an elastic body configured to apply a biasing force to the motor shaft such as to bias the motor shaft in a direction away from the second axis.

    Abstract: A real-time video streaming method between a server and a client according to a real-time transport protocol (RTP)/real-time streaming protocol (RTSP) standard protocol, including transmitting a DESCRIBE command including a Require header from a client to a server, wherein the client and the server support the Require header, receiving session description protocol (SDP) information from the server in response to the DESCRIBE command, receiving, at the client, a video from the server according to the RTP/RTSP standard protocol, in response to an encoding attribute of the video transmitted from the server to the client being changed, describing a changed encoding attribute in an RTP extension header of an RTP packet when the RTP packet is first transmitted in an RTP payload type determined according to the changed encoding attribute, and changing, at the client, a decoding setup based on the changed encoding attribute in the RTP extension header.
