摘要: A disk array system including: at least one channel control portion for receiving an input/output request of data from an information processor and exchanging the data with the information processor; at least one disk control portion for exchanging the data with a disk drive in accordance with the input/output request; a cache memory for storing the data exchanged between the channel control portion and the disk control portion; a cache switch for forming a communication path between the channel control portion and the cache memory; a shared memory for storing the input/output request exchanged between the channel control portion and the disk control portion; and at least one disk drive unit including the disk drive, and a canister for storing the disk drive; wherein the canister is provided with a power unit for supplying electric power to the drive device for driving the disk drive.

摘要: In a one-chip microcomputer, a EPROM is formed together with a ROM and RAM on one semiconductor substrate. Data such as fixed data necessary in the microcomputer can be changed by the use of the EPROM. In case data are to be written in the EPROM, a EPROM writer is used. This EPROM writer outputs write data to the EPROM and checks (or verifies) the data written in the EPROM immediately thereafter. If any error is detected, the subsequent data write is interrupted. In order to inhibit the unnecessary operation interruption in case the address designated by the EPROM writer comes out of the range of the EPROM, the checking (or verifying) data signal to be fed from the one-chip microcomputer to the EPROM writer is forcibly set at a level which indicates satisfactory operation of the EPROM.

摘要: A container holder includes a holder body, a supporting member, an actuator, and a switch. The supporting member is disposed movably to the holder body. The holder body demarcates an accommodation space for accommodating or holding a container therein partially. The actuator includes a first actuating unit, being made of a ferromagnet, and a second actuating unit, being made of an electromagnet. Moreover, one of the actuator's first actuating unit and second actuating unit is fixed to the holder body, and the other one of the actuator's first actuating unit and second actuating unit is fixed to the supporting member. The switch turns on and off the actuator's second actuating unit to have the electromagnet produce and lose an electromagnetic force. The resulting electromagnetic force moves the supporting member to come in and/or come out of the holder body's accommodation space.

摘要: When an operation wall of an inner member is inserted into an insertion portion of an outer member and an engagement piece does not receive a cam operation due to a slanted cam portion, contact pieces of the outer member do not correspond to a positioning hole of the inner member and are located in a position so as not to be inserted into the positioning hole. When the outer member is inserted into an attachment hole of an attachment receiving member with maintaining a state where the engagement piece does not receive the cam operation due to the slanted cam portion, the contact pieces are elastically deformed inwardly and located in a position so as to be inserted into the positioning hole.

摘要: A compartment temperature adjustment switch 12 is provided for successively switching a target temperature of a compartment air conditioner through pushing operation of a push button 12a. The switch 12 includes the push button 12a, a substrate 22 fixed to the push button 12a, and light emitting elements 23 mounted on the substrate 22. The segments are selectively illuminated when the light emitting elements 23 are turned on, and a target temperature is numerically displayed on the push button 12a by a combination of illuminated ones of the segments. An information display portion is integrally formed with the push button 12a.
