Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for query language interoperability in a graph database are disclosed. Data elements are inserted into a graph database using one or more of a plurality of graph database query languages. The graph database query languages comprise a first graph database query language associated with a first data model and a second graph database query language associated with a second data model. The data elements are stored in the graph database using an internal data model that differs from the first and second data models. One or more of the data elements are retrieved from the graph database based at least in part on a query. The query is expressed using a different graph database query language than the graph database query language used to insert the one or more retrieved data elements.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described to enable detection of network attacks in communication networks. An attack detection system receives information regarding network traffic occurring at nodes of a communication network, and analyzes the information for anomalous traffic patterns. The attack detection system can use multiple, parallel metric evaluation units programmed to detect specific types of anomalies within traffic patterns. In one instance, a metric evaluation unit is programmed to detect changes in entropy for the traffic, as distributed according to a characteristic such as source address, protocol, or country of origin. Where the entropy of a set of traffic differs from historical averages by a large amount, such as by many standard deviations, the attack detection system may flag the traffic as indicative of an attack, even when the absolute volume of traffic has not changed.

Abstract: A pickup location may be enabled to continue to operate when communication over a network is not available by preemptively synchronizing certain data. For the delivery of an item, order data such as the expected tracking identification for an item may be sent to the pickup location before the item is delivered. An access code that will be used by the user for retrieving the item from a storage compartment at the pickup location may also be generated and synchronized between the pickup location and a remote computing resource before the item is delivered. A delivery of an item as confirmed by a carrier may be reported to a user when communication with the pickup location is unavailable if the carrier meets a certain confidence threshold requirement based on past performance.

Abstract: A pickup location may be enabled to continue to operate when communication over a network is not available. When communication is not available, a pickup location may not be able to send a confirmation that a user has dropped off an item for a return or to send a request to have the item retrieved by a carrier. The pickup location may be enabled to assign a stored access code that was previously sent to a carrier and which will allow the item to be retrieved by the carrier who has arrived at the pickup location for reasons other than a request to retrieve the item. A retrieval confirmation from the carrier may be utilized to allow a refund or replacement process to be initiated, and to update capacity information for the pickup location, if the carrier meets a certain confidence threshold requirement based on past performance.
