A grinding mechanism including a shredder ring 20 and a grinding disc 22, is disposed within the grinding chamber 14. A liner 21, preferably of a plastics material, extends from the shredder ring 20 to the inlet 16. The liner 21 reduces the noise generated by the disposer when in use.

摘要： Apparatus for driving a nozzle of a bidet toilet, has a base 1; a nozzle 2; a guide device 11, 12 formed on the base for guiding linear movement of the nozzle; a motion output device 7 having an output shaft 71; a driving wheel 3 attached to the output shaft and being rotatably driven with the output shaft; a pair of guide wheels 4,5 rotatably fixed relative to the base, and a non-toothed conveyer 6 wound around the driving wheel 3 and the guide wheels 4, 5 and fastened to the nozzle 2. Rotation of the driving wheel 3 causes linear movement of the nozzle 2.

摘要： A kitchen appliance has a base, a driven mechanism rotatable relative to the base, and an electric motor with a stator and a rotor for driving the driven mechanism. The stator comprises a stator core with two primary stator poles with stator windings wound there on and two auxiliary stator poles. The stator windings are configured in such a way that primary magnetic poles with the same polarity are formed at the primary poles and induced magnetic poles with the same polarity which is opposite to the polarity of the primary magnetic poles are formed at the auxiliary poles when the motor is electrified.

摘要： A splash guard for an under the sink garbage disposal unit has a baffle which prevents splash back. The baffle has a membrane with a number of radially extending slits. Each slit has a pair of walls extending downwardly from the membrane forming a channel. One wall of each pair of walls has a lateral ledge or laterally displaced axial end forming a bottom to the channel. The other wall of each pair of walls is shorter in height so as to leave a gap between the second wall and the ledge of the first wall, thus forming a lateral opening at the bottom of the channel. Thus the slits form passageways through the membrane without having direct or aligned openings.
