    Abstract: An electronic device includes a display section, at least one substrate, a control section, a connecting section, a receiving section, and output wiring. The at least one substrate includes a plurality of wiring layers overlapped as a whole. Output wiring is provided on the first layer among the plurality of wiring layers and connects each of the plurality of the output terminals and the control section. From a planar view of the substrate, a bar antenna is attached on a face of a second layer on a side opposite of the first layer, in a position between positions corresponding to positions of the connecting section and the control section. The output wiring crosses between regions corresponding to both edge regions including both edges of the bar antenna.

    Abstract: A time information obtaining device and a radio-controlled timepiece are shown. According to one implementation, the time information obtaining device includes a receiving section, a code identifying section, a decoding section, and a consistency confirming section. The consistency confirming section confirms consistency of time information. The consistency confirming section generates the selected code string using the following: (i) a matching selected code string portion in which, for a code string portion including a code which may change according to the time information, a type of code is selected based on a degree of match between an identified code string and a model code string; and (ii) a majority selected code string portion in which, for a portion other than the above, a type of code is selected by majority determination among the codes identified to be a same position.

    Abstract: An embodiment of an electronic timepiece includes a cylindrical exterior case, a bezel and a windshield member. In the exterior case, a circuit board is housed. The bezel is formed of a metal material to be ring-shaped, includes an inward flange part that projects from an inner side surface toward a center of the ring-shaped bezel, is arranged on an outer upper side of the exterior case and is electrically connected with the circuit board. The windshield member is formed of a transparent dielectric substance, arranged in the bezel and supported by the inward flange part. The bezel is configured to resonate with a radio wave having a desired frequency by adjustment of at least one of (i) a relative permittivity of the dielectric substance and (ii) an area of an overlap region where the inward flange part and the windshield member overlap each other.
