摘要: A method, system and apparatus for processing a radiographic image of a scanned object is disclosed. A pixel offset correction is performed in integer format on the radiographic image using saturation arithmetic to produce an image in integer format with any negative corrected values clipped to a value of zero. The resulting pixels are converted to floating point format and the converted pixels are multiplied by a gain factor. Optionally the resulting pixels are recursively averaged with previous results. The resulting pixels are converted to integer format and the converted pixel values are clamped to a maximum value using saturation arithmetic. Non-functional pixel correction is performed in integer format and the resulting pixel values are clamped to a maximum value using saturation arithmetic. An optional processing path replaces the recursive average by a linear average. The resulting pixel values are optionally filtered to enhance features of interest. The resulting pixel value is mapped in integer format to a palette index to establish an output pixel intensity having one of many intensity levels. The optional processing is controlled through the hardware interface of a real-time image controller as images are acquired.

摘要: A catalytic converter device, useful with a self-cleaning oven, is provided. The device includes (a) a dish-shaped body formed of a mesh of metal strands, the body having a base member, sidewalls projecting from the base member, and a flange extending out from the sidewalls, the mesh having a plurality of apertures therethrough; (b) a catalytic material on at least the surface of the mesh; and (c) one or more locking tabs extending from the sidewalls, wherein the locking tabs and flange cooperate to secure the device within an orifice of a gas vent so exhaust gases will pass through the apertures. The locking tabs can be formed by punching a hole in the sidewall, such that each locking tab remains integral with the sidewall, the locking tab projecting from an edge of the hole distal the flange and at angle toward the flange.

摘要: An ion implanter incorporates an r.f. accelerator assembly to provide ions for implant at high energies. The accelerator assembly includes electrodes mounted in the vacuum chamber so as to be movable between an operational position for generating and accelerating electric field and a non operational position within the vacuum chamber displaced clear of the beam path. An Actuator moves the electrode between the operational and non operation positions. For energy implanting, the electrodes are in the operational position and for low energy implants the actuator moves the electrodes to the non operational position clear of the beam path.

摘要: A camera construction is provided which is adapted to removably accommodate a cartridge of self-developing film. The cartridge presently available on the market includes a rectangularly shaped container having a self-contained battery and a stack of photograhic sheets of like configuration disposed therein and arranged so that only the uppermost sheet may be exposed. Subsequent to exposure, the uppermost sheet is slidably removed from the container and discharged from the camera housing through a suitable opening formed therein. The invention in question relates primarily to the mechanism for automatically removing the uppermost sheet from the cartridge container and then to discharge same from the camera housing whereupon the self-developing process for the discharged sheet will occur within a predetermined time.

摘要: A method performed with a computing system for determining well integrity includes receiving a selection of a well configuration of a well, and receiving a selection of a wellbore operation performed with the well configuration. The selected well configuration includes one or more casing strings and a production tubing extending from adjacent a wellhead of the well to adjacent a bottom of the well. In some examples, the method further includes determining, based on the well configuration and the wellbore operation, a characteristic of the well at or adjacent the one or more casing strings and the production tubing during the wellbore operation, and modifying the well configuration to remove the production tubing. In some examples, the method still further includes determining, based on the modified well configuration and the wellbore operation, the characteristic of the well at or adjacent the one or more casing strings during the wellbore operation.

摘要: An agent of a contact center records an agent message. The recorded agent message is received at the contact center. The recorded agent message is stored. An agent actively using one of a first communication device or a second communication device is detected. In response to detecting that the agent is actively using the first or the second communication device, the recorded agent message is sent to the one of the first or the second communication devices that the agent is actively using. The system and method also has a peer-to-peer configuration for recording and sending agent messages.
