摘要: A coupling with a built-in light source for use with a handpiece body is disclosed. The coupling has a body-side connecting part to be connected to a handpiece body, a hose-side connecting part to be connected to a hose for delivering fluids, the hose-side connecting part connecting to the proximal end of the body-side connecting part, fluid channels extending through the body-side and hose-side connecting parts for communicating fluid lines in the handpiece body with the hose, and a light source disposed in the body-side or hose-side connecting part. The light source is an LED lighting device including light-emitting means having an LED chip, and a circuit board electrically connected to the light-emitting means for controlling the voltage supplied to the LED chip. The circuit board is placed in the body-side or hose-side connecting part.

摘要: A fluid supply connector for connecting a plurality of fluid lines from fluid supply sources to a medical handpiece is described. The connector includes a plurality of inlet ends, each to be connected with a fluid line extending from a fluid supply source, an outlet end to be connected with a fluid line extending toward a medical handpiece, and a plurality of fluid passages each connecting one of the inlet ends to the outlet end. At least one of the plurality of fluid passages has a check valve provided therein for preventing flow of fluid back to the inlet ends. The connector facilitates changing of a fluid to be injected through the tip of a handpiece without changing connectors for each fluid.

摘要: A tension shaft projects upwardly from a frame. A tension adjusting nut is adjustably screwed into an upper portion of the tension shaft. A pair of tension disks are rotatably supported by the tension shaft. A tension spring is supported by the tension shaft between one of the tension disks and the tension adjusting nut for urging one of the tension disks toward the other tension disk. A thread guide member fixed to the tension shaft has a plurality of thread holes. The device is characterized in that a bobbin thread threaded into the plurality of thread holes is elastically clamped between the pair of tension disks.
