    Abstract: A multi-band antenna includes a reflector that provides a ground plane, a first array of first radiating elements, each of the first radiating elements located on a front side of the reflector and configured to emit first electromagnetic radiation in a low frequency band, a second array of second radiating elements, each of the second radiating elements located on the front side of the reflector and configured to emit second electromagnetic radiation in a high frequency band, and an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) plane that is located between the reflector and a radiator of the first radiating element and between the reflector and a radiator of the second radiating element. The AMC plane is configured to reflect the first electromagnetic radiation substantially in phase and to reflect the second electromagnetic radiation substantially in antiphase.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a phase shifter including an input port configured to receive a radio frequency (RF) signal; a first output port, a second output port, a third output port, and a fourth output port each configured to output a respective phase-shifted sub-component of the RF signal; a first conductive trace that extends in a first direction, the first conductive trace coupled to the first output port and the second output port; a second conductive trace that extends in the first direction, the second conductive trace coupled to the third output port and the fourth output port; and a first wiper configured to couple the input port to the first conductive trace and the second conductive trace, wherein the first wiper is configured to be slidable in the first direction with respect to the first conductive trace and the second conductive trace.

    Abstract: An antenna includes a reflector having a front side that includes a first region and a second region that does not overlap the first region, a first column of radiating elements element that is located on the front side of the reflector and is configured to emit electromagnetic radiation within a first frequency band, the first column of radiating elements mounted to extend forwardly from the first region, and a reflection reducing component mounted forwardly of the second region, wherein the reflection reducing component is configured such that electromagnetic radiation within the first frequency band that is reflected by the reflection reducing component is weaker than electromagnetic radiation within the first frequency band that is reflected by the first region of the reflector.

    Abstract: An antenna assembly includes a substrate having front and back surfaces thereon and a plurality of through-holes therein, along with a solder pad on the back surface of the substrate. An input cable is also provided, which is attached to the back surface of the substrate. The input cable includes an outer conductor, which contacts the back surface of the substrate, and an inner conductor, which extends at least partially through a first of the plurality of through-holes and is electrically connected to the solder pad. A metal trace (e.g., 50-ohm trace) is provided on the front surface of the substrate. The metal trace is electrically connected to the solder pad by electrically conductive plating in a second of the plurality of through-holes.
